  We had two bad experiences with the takeout a couple years ago and hadn't been back since, but tonight we decided to give them a try again. It's still bad. We got two rib dinners. There are hardly any ribs. The macaroni and cheese tastes like vomit (my daughter and I literally spit it out), and the baked beans are watery and gross. The ribs were okay. Some pieces are decent, but others are dry, hard, and chewy, like we experienced in the past. This was their last chance, and they blew it again. We'll never be back.

  If you actually get some fresh ribs, they’re pretty good. I go several months in between visits because I either have to be a jerk and ask them to not give me dried out ribs, or I get home and find out that’s exactly what they gave me. If you buy a full slab there’s a larger yield of decent ribs. But half slab will get you at least 3 pieces that you’ll throw directly in the trash. You can buy single “center cut” ribs for like $2.50 each, and honestly that’s the way to go if you’re buying for one person.

  We’ve always enjoyed eating here and have never had a bad experience, which is why I hate leaving anything less than a great review. However, with the cost of dining out these days and so many restaurants to choose from, I felt it was worth sharing our experience today. The ribs were extremely lean, mostly bone with very little meat. The fries tasted like they had been sitting for a while and were refried, so they weren’t fresh. We also noticed the portions were noticeably smaller while the prices have increased. We understand that food costs have gone up, and we’re happy to support local restaurants, but quality and value are still important. We’re hoping this was just an off day because we’ve always enjoyed coming here and would love to have the great experience we’ve come to expect on our next visit.

  I had a really bad experience with my French fries being left out of my order then my husband drove back to get my fries then they were so hard I fed them to the birds,,, I gave Vans another try in my ribs were dry I even asked for center cut ribs I don't know if I will be visiting Vans location without their coupons
