Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- DDDoris Dancer5 days ago4.0I travel around the world and I stop at every Whataburger available for my morning breakfast and coffee. I’m in Oklahoma and yesterday they made my egg sandwich right but today it seemed to leave everything off and asked stuff that didn’t belong and I know the manager pacifically told them how I want my sandwich which I get every morning at a Whataburger in my hometown Texas 3X a week. Want nothing free because I all I eat is a egg sandwich. I just want you to ensure that they listen a little bit better.

No increase in efficiency when there are two cars in line. Waste of resources in my opinion. Chic fil a gets away with it because there are so few options.

The thing I hate most is the fountain machine. There is not and has never been enough carbonation in the machine!!! Nothing worse than drink weak/flat pop. The staff has been told several times but absolutely NOTHING has changed. The two ladies that work the register and maintain the lobby and eating area are amazing. So kind, friendly, and patient.

I spoke with Christian and asked if they had any soccer balls left. He told me they still had a few available, so I decided to head over. When I arrived, I placed my order, and Christian overheard me asking about the soccer balls. He kindly gave me two of them and was extremely friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Even with a dining room full of customers, he took the time to make sure everything was taken care of. I had originally ordered my food for dine-in, but later asked if it could be packed to go, and he gladly accommodated my request. After receiving my food, I had the chance to chat with Christian for a few minutes. During our conversation, he mentioned that he works in marketing, and it was clear that he genuinely cares about creating a positive experience for customers. His positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to help really stood out. Employees like Christian are a big reason why I continue to choose Whataburger. Thank you, Christian, for making my visit such a great experience!
