I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing from start to finish.
When I picked up my order, I noticed my Sprite was missing. Instead of apologizing, the employee silently handed me an empty cup without explaining that I had to fill it myself. I hadn’t been to a McDonald’s in about 10 years, so I had no idea that was the process.
After I sat down to eat, I realized my fries were also missing. I had to go back to the counter again, and while they gave me the fries, there was still no apology for a second mistake.
Later, my wife accidentally took a bite of my double burger, and I initially thought the restaurant had made another mistake. I asked the employee about it, but in this case, it turned out there was no error on their part. That was completely fine. However, instead of responding professionally, the employee called me rude simply for asking a question.
Everyone can make mistakes, but good customer service means acknowledging them, apologizing, and treating customers with respect. Unfortunately, none of that happened during my visit. The employee’s attitude was unprofessional and unacceptable.
