Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- SWShawn WadeMay 3, 20261.0Twice I ordered two standard menu meals and have had to wait 15-20 minutes after paying at the window. Both times I was directed to the curbside by the door. After waiting 15 minutes I went into the counter and the manager heavy set white bearded man seems to be more in the way than anything. Both times he had set my order aside to wait for something and both times it had been forgotten. I normally wouldn't review negative on one instance but today was the second time. Both times were the same as the manager seemed to be the hold up at least what I can see from the counter. Either he's in the way or he doesn't know how to get his team running smoothly. Food in general from this location isn't the best. Fries are usually undercooked and soggy or cold. Sandwiches are fine sometimes cold depending on the hold up at the counter and both times they forgot the spicy ketchup. The new smokehouse burger is meh, whatever the sauce is isn't good it'd be better with the sweet and spicy sauce or the Monterrey topping. I love whataburger normally but this location has issues.

The clerk was friendly and serviced us with a smile. She even double checked our order to add pickles but we should have added two burns that weren’t black on both sides. Whataburger is NOT cheap and I wasted $21!!!

The manager with the beard mask that took my order, he was amazing with his customer service! He made sure I was taking care of, took the time to help me with my order. Thank you so much sir for you're awesome work, you know who you are. The grilled chicken sandwich was also very delicious.😎👍
