Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- JGJason Greer5 days ago5.0Great place to eat! Hot food, fast service. Only problem was that at the time of our visit, 8:30ish on a Wednesday night, we had a hard time finding a clean table to sit at. Plenty of open tables, just not clean.

Got in the drive-thru line with cars ahead of us, we saw Chick-fil-A was covered up and decided WB would be faster, wrong sat in line for 17 minutes AND when we got to the window were asked to "PULL UP" due to chicken being ordered....Question? Why wasnt this something thought about in the 17 minutes it took us to get to the window, needless to say we waited longer. Terrible customer service, a kitchen full of people standing around lost. This is tragic for me because I LOVE WB, oh and the hamburger I order looked like it was dropped from the roof. Will not come back to this location and spend my money, I will give it to Chick-fil-A next time.
