Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- SRShanna ReynoldsAug 19, 20261.0My colleague and I visited this location around 9:30 PM and had a highly disappointing experience. When we arrived, an employee was outside talking on her phone. We went inside and waited at the front counter for about five minutes. The same employee eventually walked back inside but bypassed the counter entirely to go to the back.After waiting another 10 minutes with no assistance, I looked around the corner and saw her still on her phone. When I asked if someone could help us at the counter, she yelled to the back, "Front counter, pay attention!" A male employee yelled back, "There ain't nobody here." At that point, realizing customer service was completely non-existent, we chose to leave. Management seriously needs to address the staff's professionalism and lack of attentiveness.
