  I visited Pizza Hut for the lunch buffet around 1:40 p.m. and asked if they could make a specific pizza for the buffet. I was told, “Normally yes, but we close the buffet at 2:00.” It would have been helpful if the buffet’s closing time had been made clear before I paid, especially since there were still about 20 minutes remaining. What made the experience even more disappointing was that while customers were still eating, the buffet was shut down. It felt like the focus was on closing as quickly as possible rather than providing good customer service. I also overheard employees talking about how they were ready to leave and complaining about having to work, which did not create a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, I was disappointed with both the value of the lunch buffet and the customer service. I hope management will consider improving communication about buffet hours and ensuring guests feel appreciated until the end of service.
