They have a couple of really good, personable staff working the drive thru at this location; it's a shame they can't get anyone who is willing to read order tickets on the production line. I remember it being a huge headache trying to just get a plain hamburger at McDonald's locations in Oklahoma when I was a kid in the 90s and 2000s, and in the past couple of years I've been back here as an adult, even using the app, it's seriously no easier. I will manually go in under the item and uncheck every single ingredient besides patties, bun, and salt, and then also check the 'plain' box. It comes out on my receipt with PLAIN twice under the item. I still end up with everything on it, and sometimes, also cheese, which doesn't even go on a hamburger at all. This particular location offers a double hamburger in their app presence, so I often order that, and they aren't any better at making that one plain either, and sometimes omit the second patty entirely. I've even tried to get around it by ordering a double cheeseburger, and then following the same procedure to manually uncheck every item apart from bun, patties, and salt, and then also checking 'plain', and they will usually get the plain part right, but it's got one patty instead of two. I've attached two photos, one from 17 May 2026 and another from last night, 13 June 2026, and you can see what a mess it was. Those were far from the first times it had happened, either, it's just that by 17 May it had happened so many times before that I had to take a picture. The worst part is, when I park, discover the issue, and then go back inside to tell them and ask for it to be remade, they give attitude, and treat me like I'm mental or being a 'Karen'. I'm not even rude about it, I'm not like some other customers I've seen around here who think their inconvenience is the biggest problem in the universe, I'm not waving anyone down or shouting "EXCUSE ME!", I just stand there at the counter with the incorrect item(s) and my receipt, and wait for someone to acknowledge my presence so that I can explain. It usually takes so long, that on the 17 May photo, you can actually see that I took that picture directly on the counter, because I had so much time waiting for someone to notice me. It's a total pain, especially because I'm only ever grabbing food here to eat something quick before work. I've had easily hundreds of orders at this location over the past two years, between just grabbing a drink, a snack, or food, and I'm probably not coming back anymore.
