  On a trip and came through Atoka right now at 6:20 am. All lights were on at Sonic so I figured they were open. Pulled in, pushed the red button but didn’t see anyone inside so I googled this location only to see that they open at 8. Shut your lights off so it doesn’t appear open to the general public 😪

  There are better Sonic Drive-ins more professionally ran that serve better, fresher food in literally any direction from Atoka—Durant, McAlester, even Coalgate. This particular location has long struggled with poor service, low quality food, frequent order errors, and many broken order bays / non-operating payment systems. Sadly, this Sonic location appears increasingly on its last legs.

  This was wack. Bits of bone, plastic, or grains in the burger patty? Had to spit something out each bite.

  Not only are there stalls out of order with no way of telling(I’ve had to pull into 3 different stalls to get an order taken) , but it took 20 minutes to get me my food. I ordered a coffee and a small mozzarella stick at 8am… Edit: over a month later and even more stalls are out. 4 times I’ve pulled into a stall today. A 4th of all stalls are just out of order? With no cones set out to let people know? Are yall incapable or lazy?
