Love Pizza Hut, order from this one regularly and have seen a Huge Improvement over the last year and a half in Quality and Service. Even when snafu's happened the Manager who told me her name was Karen, stepped up and went Way Above & Beyond! Just confirmed how much better they are now... And then today happened. As always I go to the Pizza Hut website, I ordered at 12:15 for my wife at work, had to schedule the time, soonest was 1:15, went through the entire delivery process, paid Pizza Huts delivery fee, and paid Pizza Hut.
At 1:25 I check the tracker and see it's baking, so I call and am told Door Dash didn't pick it up, do you want to cancel or come pick it up? I asked to speak to the Manager about it, expecting Karen again, even said "Hi Karen" when she answered, we talked, she told me the same thing, so I said all that I said above about my ordering, etc on Pizza huts website, she absolutely refused to acknowledge any responsibility, stated that they use a 3rd party service and their Pizza Hut was not required to deliver and was not responsible if their service doesn't pick it up.
At this point she informed that her name wasn't Karen but was Candace, and that she was the General Manager, I apologized for my mistake, I know what a Karen is and I wasn't inferring anything, it was a mistake.. But the damage was done and she got ruder and told me for the 4th time that she nor her store had any responsibility and I could pick it up or cancel. I told her she was a lousy excuse for any type of Manager for refusing to even acknowledge my complaint.
So, even though we Love the hut, we won't be ordering from this store any time in the near future.
Hopefully this was a one off and everyone else gets to enjoy this Hut.
