It isn't often I get to try a new Indian restaurant because I eat Indian food so often. Today I was heading to Hamilton and got to try this lovely place. I was the first person in for lunch, but soon others followed. I had the most delicious saag paneer, perfectly seasoned, and a "cup" of yellow daal soup that could have been an entree on its own. Wonderful flavors, very pretty dining area. I will definitely return when I'm in the area!

Yeah, that's real good Indian. I had Chicken Biryani, my wife had Lamb Rogan Josh. Both spiced "medium low" which was a noticeable spice but not challenging.

Edit: This is a response to the owner - just because I posted the review today, doesn’t mean we visited today or this past weekend. We visited on July 11th at 7.49 PM. Sat down at 7.57, ordered at 7.59, and got our food at 8.07PM. I have the time stamps on the pictures that I have posted below. Looking at the response I’m now positive the food they served was not fresh. Really disappointed at this. The restaurant was so empty we had to make sure it was open. We went in at 7.45PM on Saturday night. Was surprised to find it so empty. We ordered a paneer curry (either Shahi or tikka) and a bhaigan bhartha. Both were underwhelming. Taste was average. Quantity was so little for the price. Quality was average. The food came within 8 minutes which was surprising (made me question if it was fresh).
