  Had a great experience at Chalk Bar! The drinks were delicious, and the specials were creative and well worth trying. What stood out most was seeing the owner there, actively helping behind the bar and making guests feel welcome. She was incredibly lovely and added such a personal touch to the experience. Looking forward to coming back!

  I’m from Atlanta. Everybody in Cleveland has told me to try this place. I am extremely disappointed. It’s Saturday, May 23rd and around 7:00 p.m. I ordered 3 different orders of food. No customers inside and the staff had an attitude. Pictured are the “famous” fries. They are burnt and so is the bacon. Just look at that picture. Dry and stale. 0/10 The lemon pepper wings were DRY and I had 2 orders of them. The wings were over cooked and they barely had sauce on it. 0/10 The macaroni and cheese orders were decent. 7/10 The broccoli had no seasoning on it but it was fresh so I will give it 9/10.

  This was a great night out. Great food and music and the game was on the screen. The food was Great! The atmosphere was awesome. I have nothing but good things to say about this place.

  I went here last night around 9:00pm for a couple of drinks and when I asked for the bill to pay the lady in the black long skirt and braids was very rude and did not wanna give me my bill I had my money ready and everything she skipped me to provide service to another customer which I didn’t mind I understand how a bar setting works until he asked to pay for his drink and she told him his total right in my face and she closed his tab which was highly disrespectful especially after I have been asking multiple times for the bill before she let him pay for his drinks. All I wanted to do was pay for my drinks then leave and that was a hassle within itself so unfortunately for me I won’t be back. Which is unfortunate because it was a beautiful bar very clean and nice the people were very friendly and the drinks are amazing.
