Well this place absolutely disappointed me Saturday night 5/16/2026. My fiancé and I decided to get food at outback because it’s been so long since we’ve been. They seated us very quickly and was polite in doing so. The server was responsive and friendly and the food came out quick. That’s where the good stops. I had ordered a steak with potatoes and a Caesar salad. The salad was actually warm, the potato was undercooked and black almost half way through on one side, the steak was way over cooked and not as I had requested, as well as the giant hair in the steak. My fiancé requested I didn’t say anything and not to make a scene but wow I wish I had. I didn’t finished the food at all. The appetizer we had was ok but not great. Her burger was good but it’s just a burger cooked well done. Not hard to make. In my opinion, walk away. Not worth the issues. The server had nothing to do with the food and performed well. We had zero interaction with the manager who one would assume, would walk around the store and ask customers how their meals were. I have eaten at outback for many years in various states and this is the worst experience I’ve ever had. Maybe try fixing from the top down. Sorry to say, not a great place.

Worst restaurant in Troy. The bread was the only edible part of the meal. I asked for a box and took the entree home for the cats. Employees were loafing around the bar drinking a tall boy out of a can.

The people and their staff are incredibly caring at this place. The management is perfect. You could tell they put a lot of effort into this restaurant.

4 adults and 3 kids $300 w/tip. I walked away rather disappointed honestly. Maybe it was my fault not ordering a steak at a steak house! But I'd just expect all the food to be of a higher standard but I guess not! This was my first visit here and honestly probably the last unless someone else is buying lol. The waiter was I would say above average so it wasn't all that bad. He really went the extra step to get everything right so no complaints there. My complaint was really just the food. The price vs taste just weren't on par. The blooming onion was a let down. The waiter gave us another one on the house by his own choice because the first one came out under cooked. The 2nd one was better cooked but I think overcooked I think. They could of brought out some more sauces for 7 people! So that wasn't good. The Chile was pretty spicy hot! Almost too spicy to actually enjoy. No crackers! Maybe that's the standard? I could of asked but I just figured it would come with Chile? I didn't taste the "steak" in it honestly. Their website menu is incorrect along with the menu at the restaurant. I ordered the chicken strips and fries. They went really light on the fries. The chicken strips were gas station quality at best. $18 for 5 I figured like similar restaurants of this kind it would have been better! The bread was decent but it was only 1 round of that and only 1 loaf for 7 people! The pricing was incorrect and outdated on the menu. The ice cream chocolate thunder was good. A little different but it's still chocolate. Overall didn't see the value vs the cost. But at least I got to try it. I'd go back if someone else was buying. I'd definitely not get the chicken tenders. I feel like the kids chicken tenders were the same just 2x or 3x more if you were ordering off the adult menu.

The prime rib was very tasty. And we had the best service thanks to Jessica. She was very pleasant.
