Good food at good prices! Nice menu of tasty American food, not greasy bar food. The beer is good too. Service is okay, and live music is often too loud. Regardless, I come here often.
Please retrain your hostesses and wait staff to read the crowd. We are 50’s couple from out of town entering a brewery due to its history and dark beer in tap. Hostess walks us through an almost empty main room with live music and all the memorabilia to a back room next to a large table with a family and lots of kids. We wait over 15 minutes no one acknowledges us. I get up to have someone reseat us and there’s no bartender and no wait staff to be found. The hostess comes to back room seating other people so I ask her to reseat us. As we are reseated in the main room, others ask to be reseated near the music as well. We wait another 10 minutes to place our order. The beers were great so we will be back, but the wait staff need training. 30 minutes to get a beers in a slow brewery is nuts.

I recently relocated to Toledo from Charleston and was in search of a something with history and pleasant atmosphere. I’m pumped that I came across this gem in Toledo. The vibe is chill and interactive. The staff is very friendly and beer flights are seriously underpriced for the quality of taste, body and hops. I’ve currently only gone twice but both times Trish and Ny (sp?) have been attentive, witty, and friendly. Food is excellent, especially for a brewery/bar feel. Board and card games available for grabs. Great first date spot, will definitely be back.

Took my husband here for his birthday. There was a sign telling us to seat ourselves, and I was worried we may be overlooked, but we were immediately greeted and our server came
Over quickly. We ordered waters and put in our appetizer then looked over the menus. My husband ordered a beer and the server left before I could let her know I wanted a glass of wine. We were given our waters but the waitress flitted away before giving us any straws. We received our fried pickle appetizer and she asked if we would like any ranch or anything, which should have come out with the appetizer, as it comes with it. It was then that I asked if we could have some straws. She returned and curtly presented the ranch and straws. My husband ordered the 6 beer sampler, and the chicken and waffles. I opted for the Stella Rosa moscato and BYO Mac n cheese, with salmon and crispy fried onions. Presentation wise, everything looked very good. Taste wise, we wound up disappointed. Everything was severely lacking in seasoning and flavor. We entertained ourselves with me reading the descriptions as my husband tried the matching beers. He was a fan of the MacQueens cider, Ball game kolsch style ale, and the blood orange imperial withier wheat beer.
Personally, as a foodie, I wouldn’t rush to come back. But if you’re a big beer fan, this is the place to go.
