  While the service was excellent, I thought $35 for a sirloin was a bit pricey. It was cooked to perfection and the sides were very good. Again, if you’re coming here for steak, you’d better bring a thick wallet!

  Our server Natasha H was top notch! She made our experience well worth the money spent. I had the fajita chicken salad. Large portion of grilled chicken served on a bed of lettuce in a fried tortilla shell. My husband had the 10oz Houston steak. Cooked perfectly. We will definitely dine here again.

  I don't normally give bad reviews, however this use to be my most favorite restraunt... the last 4 times we have ate here has really, truly disappointed me... my steaks are not anything what they use to be. I also, have to send them back everytime. The other night mine was rare, so I sent it back to get done (medium-well) they burnt the outside to a crisp and the inside was still the same... our bill ended up being $157.00 with a tip. I dont mind paying for a good meal but not when you cannot even eat your steak!!! They lost my business

  Told wife for days couldn’t wait for a great steak dinner for Fathers Day. Ordered the biggest filet the Sam Houston. Knew it was a thick steak and told waitress it was ok to butterfly it so it was cooked well done. My steak was still reddish pink on the inside and not butterflied to check inside. My fries also weren’t even hot. I asked for the manager and explained my disappointment. He actually was really laid back and looked at me like he was shocked that I didn’t like the food. I said I think I deserve a discount since my wife will have been with dinner and my baked potato was only thing I had eaten. The manager took steak back to grill to have it cooked well done. When he came back I had fresh hot fries. Cut into my steak and it was still pink on the inside. The manager said my meal was on him. That’s nice since I only had a baked potato for dinner. Left disappointed and hungry. Our waitress was good no complaints:

  This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants, and let me explain why. The food is great, anything you order off the menu is like finding a diamond in a gold mine. The service is really good, I am always well taken care of usually by a pretty waitress every time I go here. The entire aesthetic of the place really makes you feel a lot more authentically southern than you are because the interior decoration captures the lucid concept of texas dining so well. There is no going wrong with this place, I highly recommend dining here, you sincerely won't regret it.
