  I had a very disappointing experience with Dairy Queen in Edinburgh/Rootstown on 14. I ordered two chicken tender boxes and a cheeseburger meal for my kids before heading into a night shift. When I got home the next morning, the food was still sitting there untouched. The kids told me the chicken tenders were hard, the fries were cold and stale, and the bread wasn’t even grilled properly. I called the store, and the employee(Asian lady) I spoke with told me it wouldn’t be a problem to come back in and have the meals replaced. Sounded simple enough. But when I returned, the situation completely changed. The employee then tried to say I was supposed to bring the food back (which was NEVER told to me), and started changing the story—claiming only two tenders in the pictures and videos I took to show her, were bad. That was not true at all, and I even had pictures showing the condition of the rock hard chicken,fries, and untoasted bread. I took pictures and would have brought both boxes back in, instead of tossing them, if that's what she had asked me to do. Instead of honoring what was promised, I was given attitude and only offered a 4-piece tender instead of a 6 pc i PAID for, because I didn’t bring the original food back—again, something that was never communicated to me in the first place. It took me standing my ground and escalating the situation, what should have been handled professionally from the start. Customer service matters, and so does honesty. If you’re going to promise a replacement, stand by it. Don’t change the story when the customer shows up, Or bc your in front of the owner. (Who was no help either btw.) Very disappointing experience overall.

  If I could give 0 stars I would. After previously dining here and getting poor service and food we decided to give it a try again. I witnessed an Asian lady slamming the drive through window in the customers face. And that's all I needed to see. Nothing changed still poor service. Won't be going back.

  Incredibly disappointing. Took my kids here for ice cream, and one of the workers was verbally abusive towards her coworkers, berating them loudly in front of customers. When I saw her push one of them I told her it was inappropriate, and she should respect her employees. She responded "Thats my sister!" Then slammed my ice cream down and stormed off. To say it was excessive and unprofessional would be a great understatement. Will never visit this location again. Not a pleasant visit at all.
