I ended up finding a way to submit an online form rather than use the chat, and they offered me a free protein item in my "rewards" with a 30 day expiration. I said that wasn't acceptable and they ended up removing the reward and just crediting my $4.45. Have come home a few times after picking up dinner at this store and been missing items. I've started checking my bag before leaving the parking lot, but this time I was in a hurry - of course, I was missing a side of chicken that I paid for. Not the store's problem, but getting through to someone online is next to impossible. The Chipotle app is buggy most of the time, and their chat is even worse. After giving all info to "Agent Pepper," you're transferred to a human, who asks you what the problem is again. The app crashes if you navigate to another app or let your phone lock. I wasted over an hour on a chat trying to get less than $5 back for food I NEVER RECEIVED. I now realize this wasted time was not worth the money that I lost, but the principle of the matter drives me crazy. You'd think for such a large company, Chipotle would be better at customer service.
