Even when busy, I was treated with respect, and my smoothie came out quickly.

My wife and I just moved here and have tried about 20 different places to eat. Of all of those places, this is the first time when I tried to get cups of water with our meal, that we weren't given the option: they tried to upcharge us for bottled water. To me this is just bad customer service. If you're in Europe, you can charge for water, but in the U.S. you shouldn't be charging for water (especially when 19 nearby eating establishments don't). The other thing that bothered me a little was how the layout made for very little seating and could be improved. We were there not even during a mealtime and it was already hard to find a seat. All of that said, I will say the food itself was AMAZING. The acai bowl had a delicious balance of fruit, smoothie, granola, and nutella goodness, and they do seem to make everything fresh onsite. It's also refreshing that even though they highlight their smoothie menu items, there are breakfast items, wraps, paninis, and other options, so for a smoothie cafe their offerings are pretty diverse and impressive.

I got an açaí bowl and essentially paid $13 for freezer burnt left over smoothie and a natures valley bar as “granola”
