  Hello everyone! I recently had my first visit here when my daughter took me out for a special Mother’s Day brunch and buffet. She made reservations and even managed to move us to an earlier time, which was a nice touch. Upon entering, I was greeted with a decent first impression—waited only a short time to be seated. Our table was in a lovely, clean area, though I found the buffet setup a bit odd and less inviting than the dining space. The highlight for me was definitely the salmon—it was absolutely delicious! The rest of the offerings, like the pastries, were pretty good but nothing extraordinary, akin to what you’d find at IHOP. The place was packed, making the lines a little hectic, especially with enthusiastic guests. Our server was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. My daughter enjoyed a banana espresso martini that she raved about. While I enjoyed the hospitality, I’m not sure I’d return for an overpriced buffet that didn't quite live up to its cost. Still, I’m thinking maybe another day could bring a different experience.

  Ordered a $19 house salad with salmon. It was the most pitiful salad I've ever seen. Shredded lettuce, looks straight out of the bag. Maybe 1.5 cups if I was lucky. The salmon was probably 4 ounces and there was zero seasoning on the salmon. My daughter got the $31 steak. They made it perfectly as she asked except... there was zero seasoning on it. The menu is fairly basic. They didn't seem to be able to make any adjustments. I don't think this location will be around long. The restaurant itself is very nice. The wait staff are meh at best. They aren't bad but they are almost robotic. I probably won't come back as I cannot stand unseasoned food. It feels like all the food was premade and frozen. The cooks just cut the packages open and microwave the food.

  The atmosphere at Burntwood Tavern in North Olmsted successfully leans into a warm, rustic aesthetic that feels both upscale and approachable. The expansion of the outdoor and semi-enclosed seating areas adds a great dynamic to the floor plan. During this visit, we were seated in one of these expanded sections; it’s worth noting that the high ceilings and open-air integration occasionally invite local birds to perch high above the dining area—a quirk of the architecture that certainly catches the eye. The service was a standout highlight, specifically in how the staff handles the "human element" of dining. An accidental spill occurred at our table, but the recovery was exemplary. Our server was immediate with her assistance, providing the necessary supplies to help my wife clean up and ensuring the item was handled on the bill without us having to ask. It is rare to see a team pivot so gracefully from a mistake to a positive guest experience. From the bar, the Jack and Jill and the Blueberry Bourbon smash were both well-balanced and refreshing, showing a solid grasp of seasonal and classic cocktail profiles. The culinary experience offered a range of highlights: • Appetizers: The Chicken Potstickers were a major win, particularly due to the high-quality dipping sauce. The Soft Pretzel was standard in execution, though they earned points for providing a generous portion of beer cheese—a detail many establishments overlook. • Flatbreads: The Pepperoni Flatbread was a bit more utilitarian; while perfectly fine, it didn't quite reach the level of the other dishes. • Entrees: This is where the kitchen shines. The Chicken Parmesan was well-executed, and both the Smash Burger and Nashville Hot Chicken were flavorful and hit the expected marks for texture and spice. Overall, Burntwood Tavern offers a very fair price-to-quality ratio. Between the proactive service and a menu that hits several high notes, it remains a reliable and inviting choice in the local dining scene.

  I didn't like the food I ordered.. I've had better at other establishments. The other members of our party looked what they ordered.

  Nice restaurant. Love the Vibes of the fireplace. Food & the serving crew are Courteous and Pleasant.
