  Imagine you’re at a phở shop in Vietnam- you go to the counter, order your food, grab a drink out of the cooler and load up all your veggies/toppings for yourself with sauces and utensils all at the table. Phở Lee's has largely replicated this experience (minus the short plastic stools 😜). If you’ve ever eaten at a casual roadside restaurant in SE Asia- this is exactly the same way food is served there and to their credit it came out just as quickly too! I’ve been to a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in the US that tone down their flavors or leave out the more unusual ingredients that are unfamiliar to Americans, things like congealed pork blood, pork trotter, or tendon/cartilage are pretty foreign here, but in leaving them out they do a disservice to the food and it’s sad. At Phở Lee's you get ALL the things that are authentically found in Vietnamese food especially in my favorite the bún bò Huế. After reading some of the one star reviews complaining about “chunks of gelatin” or “raw meat” in their soup or “stale bread” in their banh mi, it’s clear some people don’t know how authentic Vietnamese food is meant to be prepared. I for one am glad it’s not Americanized! Oh and the sugar cane juice and limeade also felt super authentic, hope they add durian smoothie some day!

  I've dined here twice and had an excellant meal and experience with all staff on previous visits. My third visit I placed my order, prepared my sides at the salad bar, then sat and waited for my veggie soup. A female staff member approached my table with a child on her hip asking for my papers. I did not understand at first, then I realized she wanted to see my medical documentation and service dog papers. The employee told me the owner of pho lees is asking her to acquire my medical data and the owner needed to see these papers. I explained its illegal to ask for medical documentation and that you are allowed to ask 2 questions (which i posted as a photo to educate in this review). I informed the employee with the child that my dog and I are licensed and you are not allowed to ask for personal information and my dog is a service dog. She smiled and left my table. After 20 minutes, I never got my bowl of veggie soup. In previous visits, my veggie soup was out fast. There was not a crowd here. I approached the counter and checked in on my veggie soup after 20 minutes, and my soup never got made. I reminded them and sat back down and after a period of time, still no veggie soup. I went back up to the counter to check in and they apologized, one employee told me my soup didnt get ordered because there was a problem with the computer. Another employee came and said they got too busy. Now that I was getting different stories from the staff, i felt they didnt want me there. They offered to make my single item order, a veggie soup, a third time. I politely asked for a refund as I didnt want to wait over a half hour for a bowel of veggie soup they didnt seem to want to serve me. Other customers got served their food and they ordered more complicated menu items. I gave 5 stars because the food is good, 5 stars because the staff in my previous visits were welcoming and awesome. Today, I gave them 1 star because they dropped the ball horribly on my experience and I dont think I like being here anymore. Im sharing this to let others know with service dogs about my experience and to educate the owner that it is illegal to ask for papers, you're only allowed to ask 2 questions and I'm posting them here to educate Pho Lee's what those questions are. P.S. I had several side plates of salad bar veggies prepared along with 3 small saucers of side sauce on my table. I felt bad for leaving them all, but I had no veggie soup to put them in! So that was wasted food because pho lees didnt want to serve me 🤕 I did munch on my plate of wilted bok choy (the salad bar area is clean and fresh, my bok choy was wilted because it sat long enough at my table it wilted, i had a plate of it to pour into my hot soup, my soup never came, so i munched on wilted bok choy as i waited) and after my experience waiting, I felt the owner of pho lees just made it clear I didnt belong here among the other diners. This was my experience with my 3rd visit and thats a shame because I had a rough day and wanted to cheer up at pho lees and instead, I got the cold shoulder from staff today 🤕

  Very fatty meat, chunks of some kind of mystery gelatin in the meatballs I could not even stomach to try them. A lot of typos in the menu to which when asked the girl behind the counter told me they use AI to generate their menus. Poor decision on their part. Portion was big and broth was good but will probably not return.

  Glad I found this place. It's the real deal. Excellent pho, lots of fresh herbs and accoutrements for your bowl. Great flavor and plenty of meat. Banh mi was also very good. The service is friendly and the entire place was clean as a whistle. Can't wait to come back again on another cold & rainy day :)

  I loved this place - our meal was large and tasted delicious - we loved the sauce/side bar, and we got our order in a very timely manner and everyone was so kind. The customers in front of us had a lot of questions and their server took the time to explain menu items and was very friendly. I would recommend this to everyone.
