- MFMike FeddersenJul 20, 20262.0I stopped at this location yesterday to tryout their chili. I looked at the menu, but chili wasn't even prominent on it. I told the young lady that it was my first time at any of their restaurants. "Would you like the chili with beans, or without?" I chose one of each with some sour cream. I don't know how they can justify having Chili in the name of the restaurant. The stuff they put in my to go bag wasn't even credible soup. It should have came with a straw, it was so bad. I thought Wendy's chili was starting to get a little steamy on the jalapeno scale, but there's is like sweet peppers compared to what Gold Star Chili served me. Where's quality control for this restaurant? I even told the lady it was my first time there, but they lost a customer. At least Wendy's chili has some texture, Gold Star Chili isn't even in the running. The only redeeming quality was the gal taking the order, but I would have rather they had something worth eating. Save your money folks.

I had made myself nervous about trying the 3-way, a concoction of chili, spaghetti, and a pile of shredded cheese. It was great! I really enjoyed it. On my next trip back, I will try the burgers I believe, but the 3-way was not what I expected, in a good way. I'll definitely eat that again. The restaurant was clean, ♿️ accessible, and service was very prompt. Lots of choices. Plenty of space for all of my new family from Ohio to gather and watch me try this for the first time.
