If you’re going for the buffet just don’t go here. The food is mid at best. The fried chicken had no flavor, the mash potatoes tasted microwaved, the Mac and cheese was store bought, the cheddar potatos were bland, the country fried steak was soggy and had no flavor. The only thing my wife and I liked was the bbq meatballs and even then they were an 8 at best. I mean if you’re starving and want to eat a bunch of food then I guess go for it since it’s fairly priced at $17

Everything was excellent about the restaurant, but it was a little pricey for what you get. Granted, its a buffet and if you can eat enough, the cost to consumption ratio is good. That being said, it cost 3 of us just over $60 for breakfast. And again, the food was excellent. The staff was super friendly. They also made "on demand" omelets and pancakes with a variety of ingredient options that were cooked in cast iron and were absolutely delicious. If you can get past the cost, it was a good visit with good food.

We went to the buffet for father's day. Very busy. Disappointed that they don't advertise that they have an online waiting/reservation list you can join, but they put us on it when we got there. Our wait was only about 35 minutes. The buffet was nothing special ... average at best. It was well attended to ... the workers would actually shove their way in line to ensure fresh food. The food was in the style of DerDutchman, but definitely not the same quality. I'd go again on a non-holiday just to see if things improve, but im not rushing to do that. The service was a typical buffet service... really nothing bad, nothing extremely good.

Amazing food and extremely friendly service! We were visiting from Tennessee and after my daughter's wedding, both sides of the family came here for lunch. We were amazed at the quality of the food and the fantastic number of buffet options. Everything was fresh and the serving area is kept very clean. Our server told us that all of their meats are local and prepared at the restaurant as well as many of the desserts. The blueberry pie was fantastic and the crust tasted homemade. The roast beef and turkey were unbelievably good and were topped with delicious homemade gravy. There were even General Tso's chicken and pollock fish bites on the buffet. If I'm ever back in this area again you can better believe I will stop here!

We have watched the decline of this restaurant for the past ten years. Initially, the buffet was fresh, restocked regularly and had a wonderful variety of choices. The salad bar used to be a destination on its own merits. We decided to give it another try last night as my husband was anchored on how great their fried chicken used to be. If you are looking to spend $18 on mediocre carbs and dry, over cooked chicken, this is your best option. The salad bar has devolved into iceberg lettuce and spinach with very limited toppings and a choice of two salad dressings. When we first started frequenting this place, they offered 3 fresh soup choices with the salad bar. Now there is one, and it looked like it had been sitting in the warmer all day. The crowning achievement of this restaurant used to be their “homemade” pies. I’ll save you the disappointment! They are AWEFUL. I’m guessing they are sourced frozen from Sysco. We always enjoyed the cheerful energy of the wait staff in the past. Don’t expect to find that today. It was reminiscent of a cafeteria in a nursing home. Our waitress checked in on us frequently, but we got the impression that it was to hurry us along so she could get out of there. Definitely not worth the forty bucks we paid!
