It was burgers week, $8.00 for burger and fries. My son had the chili burger and I had the cheese burger. My cheese burger was $10.00 not sure why, supposed I should have asked why. Going back soon for the chili burger.

Loudly bad mouthing a coworker who was standing outside, loud enough that the whole restaurant could hear them. They stated they were out of food to a door dasher. - JJJustinJul 20, 20261.0Worst Gold Star experience I've ever had in my life. I'm a huge fan of Gold Star, I will get it like three or four times a month...but not anymore. (Or at least not at this location) I asked for my to go order to be disassembled so the cheese wouldn't melt before I got home. I've been doing this for 15+ years without a problem, but this new manager wanted to charge me $2 for the cheese. Even though I had already paid the full price for the meal. She claimed it was for 'extra cheese' even though it was clear less than was needed for my meal. I refused to pay, and when I got home, there wasn't enough for my full meal. (2 cones and a chili cheese fry) Just like I had initially thought. When I called about this issue, she wouldn't even acknowledged any fault, and refused to give a refund or even a apology. I am honestly shocked and disgusted by this behavior, as I've never had a problem at any other gold star, nor the old manager. Don't go here...It isn't worth it anymore Good job, you lost a loyal customer of 5+ years at this location for a half a cup of cheese! I truly hope it was worth it :D (I will miss the old staff, because this place used to be great. But this new GM is a horrible person, even though the waitress was nice)
