I celebrated my birthday at Brio in Liberty Township on May 18th, and it was another amazing experience! This was actually my fifth year in a row celebrating my birthday there, and there’s a reason I keep coming back.
The staff was incredible, my server was attentive and wonderful, and Manager Sandro went above and beyond. Even at the last minute, they were able to accommodate our group with a table, which I truly appreciated. The food was amazing, the service was amazing, and the whole experience made my birthday feel special.
I highly recommend Rio to anyone looking for great food and exceptional service. I’ll definitely be back again!
Special thanks to our server Trevor he was the best !

We came for Mother’s Day and made a reservation specifically so we wouldn’t have to wait, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing from the start. When we arrived, the host was very rude and we still ended up waiting for a table. We politely asked to sit outside since the weather was beautiful, but the host rudely refused and said the wait would be over an hour.
Once seated, we waited about 15 minutes before a waiter even came to the table. The food was very average and honestly lower quality than Olive Garden. Our waiter kept disappearing, making it difficult to ask for anything, and we waited another 15 minutes just to get the check.
Overall, not the Mother’s Day experience we were hoping for.

Had an unfortunate meal at Brio and can't say I'll be back. We had made a reservation over a week in advance; when we arrived, we were seated in the very back corner of the restaurant right next to the bussing station. If we didn't want that table, we were told it would be a 20 minute wait. It was 10+ minutes before we saw any wait service. When my meal came out incorrectly, the waitress told me "well you ordered that" when I clearly ordered my correct dish in front of my other guests; made me feel like in inconvenience because they had written down the wrong dish. Two of us ordered the gnocci cacio e pepe, and could not finish our meals due to the taste. once our plates were totally cleared, it was 20 minutes before we saw the waitress to request a check. For the price of the meal, and the experience we had, I can confidently say we will never be back.

We had an outstanding experience at Brio thanks to Harrison, the floor captain. From start to finish, the service was phenomenal. Even though we didn’t have reservations, Harrison went out of his way to accommodate us and made sure we were taken care of the entire time.
The food came out perfectly, and the timing and attention to detail were top-tier. You can tell Harrison truly takes pride in creating a great guest experience. He checked in consistently without being overbearing and made sure everything ran smoothly.
If you’re dining at Brio, Harrison is exactly the kind of leader you hope to see on the floor. Highly recommend!

3 stars, and that’s honestly being generous because the ambience is doing a lot of the heavy lifting here.
The space itself is beautiful — great exterior, interior, overall vibe. But everything else? Not great. Not great at all.
We stood at the entrance for close to five minutes with no host or waitstaff in sight, just waiting around awkwardly. After finally being seated, it took another 10–15 minutes (if not more) for anyone to come take a drink or food order. Meanwhile, a table seated after us was already getting bread, water, and drinks. We had a toddler with us, which made the whole wait even more frustrating.
Even placing the order was harder than it should’ve been. We asked a few basic questions about the menu and didn’t get clear answers — it honestly felt like the waitstaff was new or not fully trained.
The food was where things really fell apart. The margherita flatbread was just horrible — I’ve never seen a margherita pizza like that before. The pasta wasn’t great, the chicken was dry and rubbery, and while the lamb chops were okay, they were nothing special.
For a restaurant in such a fancy area with a polished look, this was a pretty disappointing dinner. We haven’t had a meal this underwhelming in a long time.
There’s potential here, but they really need to get their act together — front of house, service, food… all of it.
