  I visited today with a group of friends and placed an order through the Tropical Smoothie app. When we arrived to pick up our drinks, I realized that my smoothie was missing from the order. While I gathered my belongings, I asked a friend to check on it for me. When I spoke with an employee, I was told that anything containing chocolate had been “discounted,” which eliminates a large portion of the menu options. However, there was no indication of this on the app, on the menu, or posted anywhere in the store when I placed my order. I then asked about alternative options, and the employee responded with, “Do you have a chocolate fetish?” As a 16-year-old who also works in the food industry, I found this comment extremely inappropriate and disturbing—especially coming from an adult employee. It was unprofessional, uncomfortable, and completely unacceptable in a customer service setting. I simply wanted the item I paid for or a reasonable alternative, along with respectful service. Additionally, the explanation that “everything was recalled so we threw it out” was confusing and inconsistent, as it was also described as “discounted,” not unavailable. The lack of clear communication only added to the frustration. Throughout the interaction, other staff members did not acknowledge the situation and instead stared, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. The overall attitude of the staff came across as disengaged and unwelcoming. I was also concerned about the level of hygiene and professionalism in the store. In a food service environment, cleanliness and proper appearance are extremely important, yet I observed employees with long, unkempt nails that did not appear appropriate for food handling. There did not seem to be attention to basic hygiene standards, which is a serious concern when preparing food and beverages. This, combined with the lack of professionalism, reflects poorly on the establishment and raises concerns about overall health and safety practices. Overall, the customer service was very disappointing. I ultimately requested a refund due to the poor experience. This situation reflected a lack of professionalism, clear communication, respect for customers, and proper attention to health and hygiene standards.

  Went thru drive thru asked for 3 smoothies. The rude young African American girl with ponytail braid gave me an immediate attitude. Her greeting was full of attitude before I spoke like she didn’t want to be there. She asked me if I wanted “one or two drinks because she heard me say “plural”. I simply repeated, I said 3. She got an attitude and made a smart comment. Then I heard her talking about me to the teller while I was waiting at the window. News flash, the window is not sound proof. I recommend remedial training on interpersonal and customer service skills. 5/2: 1:53 pm

  They don't know what they're doing my drinks taste different every time they don't put what you're supposed to have in it and my food is I can't believe it I it was still frozen I took it back in for them to heat it up a little bit and it got worse

  If I can give a zero I would!!!!Upon entry there was a drive through cashier present. He looked directly at me and walked to the back. After that I stood there waiting on someone to greet me and take my order. Several employees look directly at Ma and kept doing what they were doing. There was one worker who popped out and helped a few people that had pick up orders. Then the drove through cashier back looked directly at me again and went to the drive through window. I continue to wait. I’m not naive to think that employees have duties but it would have been professional to at least speak and say “ We will be with you in a minute.” The drive through cashier came to me and I let n know that I didn’t appreciate that all including him looked at me and said nothing. So no I will not purchase anything from your restaurant.” You can be professional and I can’t give my money to any place of business who do not conduct themselves in a professional manner!!

  Every other location takes multiple orders in the drive thru. This girl did not want to and told us no location takes multiple orders. Sorry thats just weird and lazy. I have health issues and couldnt get out of the car. Smoothies are the only thing I can eat right now. You never know people's reasons for needing what they need
