  The food is delicious don’t get me wrong but the staff is just down right disrespectful. I’ve been here multiple times on my lunch break and have been given a reason ever time to be unsatisfied with the customer service given to me. Not to mention they never answer the phone to place a pick up order, sometimes it can take up to 15 minutes to even get my order placed as a walk in so I always like to call ahead. I also definitely did not appreciate the last time I went there and the cook decided to take his smoke break at the table I was sitting at. Extremely unprofessional business and I will most likely not be returning.

  The cashier was very nice and accommodating. However the owner that was in today 8/22/26 was the Most cantankerous grumpy old man, he didn't have a smile or pleasant word for anyone. The food was only fair, and the price was A bit high for what we were presented with.

  I had a great experience at Alexander’s Deli! The food was delicious, fresh, and served quickly. The employees were kind, attentive, and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. You can tell they take pride in both their food and their customer service. If you’re in Hamilton and looking for a great place to grab a meal, I definitely recommend giving Alexander’s Deli a try. I can’t wait to come back!

  Verily, I must with profound disappointment declare this establishment to be of the most lamentable quality. The victuals were wanting in freshness, the service did proceed with all the haste of a slumbering tortoise, and the attendants bore themselves with little regard for courtesy or good breeding. Had I sought provisions amidst the wilderness, I daresay I should have fared more favorably. I therefore bestow but a single star upon this market and delicatessen, and can scarce recommend it unto any honest soul who values his coin, his appetite, or his patience. May Providence grant that its keepers amend these grievous deficiencies, lest future patrons depart as discontented as I.

  Food was okay. Service is awful. I watched the man making my sandwich text on his phone with his gloves on before trying to make my sandwich. I asked him to change his gloves because I just saw him touch all over his phone and he said “I haven’t touched anything yet” as if he wasn’t just about to. Truly disgusting. The attitude of the workers was just awful. I won’t be going back. Not worth it.
