We had a last minute family reunion and needed a place to gather for lunch and share memories. I called on a Monday to make reservations for that Saturday for 14 people. The hostess was friendly and transferred my call to John, the General Manager. We discussed the options and I ended up booking (for a very small fee) a room that easily accommodated 14 people. When we arrived, the hostess was expecting us and our table was ready. Our drink order was taken immediately and just then John rounded the corner to introduce himself. We saw him several more times as he checked in with us to make sure all was well. Izzy, our server, was excellent, kept our order moving at a comfortable pace and to my knowledge every meal was correctly served to each person. In addition to all that, the menu is wonderful and served a wide range of tastes and diets that we brought to the table. AND, they were very happy to do separate checks! If I'm back in the area I will certainly stop in again!

My boyfriend and I decided to come back after having a proper, lovely experience a year ago. Now? That experience has gone out the window. The bathroom sinks didn't work, there was soap residue that had probably been left for a month or so; and there was lack of care and sincerity from our waitress. The shrimp alfredo was tough and the food seemed to have been given to us with lack of care. Waitress even stole from us when my fiance asked her to break a 50 so we could provide a tip since it was shift change, and she decided to steal what she thought she deserved without giving the broken $50 back so we could tip properly. Only waiter who seemed to care was Zack, but that did little to change the experience. Food was bland, dry, and of grocery store quality at the time. It's sad to see such a place I enjoyed coming to be taken for granted. To top it all off, my man had to deal with the taste of rot and stomach issues from what seemed to be unclean taps after he ordered beer. He ordered 2 different ones which tasted the same, and I feel bad he had to deal with his dry salmon dinner and "store-bought quality" rice underneath. Ever since menu changes took effect, quality seemed to have gone downhill. Will not be coming back to this establishment.

I and my fiance visited again after a year. The first time was a wonderful tasteful experience. This time was highly disappointing. I had the Salmon dish which was dry and served on less than grocery store rice, peas, carrots and minced egg which gave another word for chewy morsel. My fiancé had the chicken cacciatore which also gave new meaning to Al Dente on less than adequate cheese sauce. Also I had on drought Samuel Adam's seasonal beer..but then had a Blue Moon on draught...both which tasted the same because it gave the impression that the taps have not been cleaned in a year ? Because I still have the aftertaste of rot and hour after we left, and I said this to the waiter to try both as a tasters to see what I meant. I will never come back to this location again. What was before is no where near what is now.

Dined there twice in about a week. The first time I had a French dip. It was full of fat and gristle. Kept having to discreetly spit the meat into my napkin. I went back yesterday and had prime rib sliders. Again, they were so gristly that I kept having to spit the meat out. Since it happened twice, I mentioned the quality to the waitress. She sent over a young blonde woman with glasses, who proceeded to tell us that corporate requires them to leave quite a bit of fat on the meat. That doesn’t explain the gristle nor do their prices allow for quite a bit of fat on the meat. If corporate truly has that attitude, this restaurant doesn’t deserve my business. No discounts or compensation was offered. Just an offhand comment that she would talk to the kitchen.
