I give enough bad reviews, have to give a good one when deserved. Usually don't eat McDonald's. Place had a pretty good line when I got there but it went quick. Hottest fries I've ever got. Unsweetened iced tea was good, and they didn't give me sweetened like they do half the time at other McDonald's. Think that was the best service I ever got at a McDonald's. Around 7:55 Tuesday night. 👍

The night-shift manager working on 4/14/26 at 10PM needs to have their position seriously re-evaluated or they need replaced entirely.
The trainee who was taking the order seemed very unfamiliar with the POS system and was having trouble adding modifications to food items in the order. No negativity towards the trainee at all; they're obviously a new hire and the manager should take responsibility for their training. They obviously felt uncomfortable enough with the task that they declared to us that they were in fact a trainee. The manager ended up taking over on the mic to finish the order, didnt repeat the order that we already said to make sure it was correct, and then made us wait at the window for almost 20 straight minutes. I should also mention that while McDonalds typically shows the order as its being placed on the drive thru screen, it was being casted to the drive thru lane that was closed and not the one we were in, so we couldnt really see it. It was not a massive order by any means, or at least big enough to warrant a 20 minute wait in an almost empty drive thru. After the long wait, we loop around to the drive through speaker again to ask about the order. She said "I was just about to walk it out to you before you left" and spoke to us very passive aggressively. We get to the window for our food, waited another minute for someone to show up at the window (we are the only car in the drive through at this time), and even then, they didnt have the complete order ready, as they forgot our drinks. They also ended up forgetting my entire meal in the order, a 10 piece and a double cheeseburger. Half of the food we got was either freshly cooked or very cold, no in between. Should've just gotten a refund when we looped around to the speaker a second time.
A McDonalds shouldnt take as long as a sit-down restaurant to make an order, and it shouldn't come out at inconsistent temperatures and be served with an attitude for simply asking where the food we paid for 20 minutes ago was in an empty drive thru. Genuinely a lazy, incompetent excuse for a manager. If the trainee who was working that night happens to be reading this: just because you're working in fast food doesn't mean you dont deserve competent leadership. Jump ship to another one of the 20 fast food places in Calcutta where you would have a better experience and opportunities.

They don't give you all your change back from a purchase. If you have pennies coming back you will not get them. It's not the amount. It's them keeping your change and others. Think of how much money that makes them. Even though it's just pennies. It's stealing. More money their pockets. We are not out of pennies there are millions. It's stealing from each one of you. Shame on the owner of this McDonald's.
