  Waitress dropped beer on my kid. Whatever, accidents happen, my husband is literally a bartender that’s life. What’s not acceptable is that we cleaned it up by ourselves, had to beg for more silverware because of it, and had to take turns eating in the bathroom because my kid couldn’t stop sobbing, and basically never saw our waitress again. The true gag is because she poured beer on my kid and we had to clean it up (ourselves mind you) she tried to not give us the happy hour price because HER mistake caused it to be after 6 before we could order food. In response, she took of the beer price. Again, we ate in the bathroom. Then, I’m a vegetarian and asked for tofu. There was 4 chunks of tuna in my food. It literally looked like the kitchen realized their mistake after the first scoop and said “ope, we’ll just cover this up with tofu surely they don’t have a fish allergy” definitely not a good experience.

  J. Liu Restaurant & Bar exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was outstanding — everything was flavorful, fresh, and clearly prepared with care. What truly made the evening exceptional, though, was the service. Our waiter was phenomenal: warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience. He checked on us consistently without ever being intrusive and made us feel incredibly welcomed and valued as guests. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers both amazing food and such high-quality service so effortlessly. This was easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time, and it’s absolutely a place I’ll be returning to and recommending to others.

  Gotta stop in and see Danny! My wife, our one-year-old and I were in town to see family and stopped by for dinner. We are always a little trepidatious about going to "nicer" restaurants with a baby, but the atmosphere was great! Danny was very accommodating and even the folks sitting around us were very kind and seemed to enjoy interacting with our son. Despite the bar area being totally full Danny did a great job taking care of us and didn't miss a thing! On Danny's recommendation I ordered the spicy chicken and it was so good I brought the leftovers back to TN with me. Whether you're local or just passing through I would strongly recommend going to J Liu's, ask if Danny is working and if so, sit in the bar area. The food was great, but the real reason for taking the time to write this review was the experience and service that Danny provided!

  Went with a group of 12. Had a room to ourselves. Great service. Very nice variety of food!

  The food and service were great here! We got the Spicy Chicken and Pad Thai. Our server, Jeremy O, was super kind to our group and an awesome server!!
