Had high hopes for mother's Day dinner with friends up from Cincinnati but were overall disappointed. Service was great but the food, especially the steaks, was not. Steaks were dry and one was overcooked to the point it was blackened on one side (it WAS taken off the bill). Our side dishes didn't come out with the entree (we had to inquire about their status) and one phantom salad never showed up at all. We could spent half the money and had a better experience at Longhorn (likely the same meat vendor). Following suit with a growing number of restaurants these days, Fleming's has fallen off.

The steak and bass were wonderful. However all their sides are extremely lack luster. I was disappointed in the Mac and cheese, so I asked for Mash potatoes which tasted like they had grits mixed in and no flavor. 3 sides out of 5 people and none were barley touched. The atmosphere is loud for a special occasion. This is extremely overpriced for the experience. The ala carte adds up extremely quick, with much going to waste other than the meat dish....disappointed to say the least.

It's been almost 10 years since I visited here. We came for a birthday party and there was a card and a sign on the table. They also took a picture of us and printed it out to take home and remember the experience. The layout creates a very intimate environment for any occasion! The food was cooked to perfection and with the best seasonings. I can't say I've ever had a steak that just melts with every bite. To top it all off, when we received our check we also got a nice little birthday treat! I highly recommend trying it out! Be sure to make a reservation.

Update: 2nd Visit I decided to give this steakhouse bar and grill another chance, hoping my first experience was just an off night. While there were a few improvements, the food still did not meet expectations. This time, the service was noticeably better—staff (Jacob and Mgr on duty) was attentive, friendly, and more accommodating, which I truly appreciated. However, the main issue remains the food. My steak arrived undercooked and bloody, far from what I had requested. They did attempt to make things right by taking both ribeyes back to cook the blood out and also bringing out two baby lobster tails instead of 12 oz one, which was a nice gesture since the one from the first visit was very salty. At this point, while I can acknowledge the improved service, the consistency and quality of the food are still lacking—especially for the price range. I really wanted this place to redeem itself, but it still missed the mark.
