I hadn't been to any Burntwood in a few years due to declining quality. I decided to give the Cuyahoga Falls location a chance and I'm so glad I did! First, the location is beautiful with amazing views from pretty much anywhere you sit. The service was also wonderful. The French Dip sandwich was very good and the banana bread espresso martini was delicious! This is the amazing quality I remember Burntwood used to always deliver decades ago. The Cuyahoga Falls location is a gem, I will certainly be back for happy hour.

My family and I went here on Mother's Day for their buffet. We were there at 1:00. I couldn't believe how busy it was! Everyone was so cramped in their seats. The place was chaotic, a lot of the food trays were empty, and the food was ok. Even the dessert area was lacking desserts. Our server was doing the best he could, but all the servers were doing a lot of fast walking. Even the bar tenders were behind on the drinks. One nice thing was the view. We sat right next to the river. It was beautiful to see. After we ate, we went to see the river. The current was really fast, but it was beautiful. I think we might have to pick a different place next year for Mother's Day.

I used to live in the area and recently moved. I came by specifically for the smoked buffalo chicken wings because they are literally the best wings I’ve ever had in my life. And I’ve eaten a lot of chicken wings over the years so I feel like I’m an expert on this subject. They recently took the wings off the menu. To say I’m devastated would be an understatement. According to the staff there is no guarantee the wings will be back. Just put me in the ground now that it’s come to this. I’ll change my review to 5 stars when the chicken wings are back on the menu where they belong.

Service was mediocre. No one was super friendly or overtly rude. It was not the standard I had hoped a restaurant of this caliber would have. For the price that you are paying, the food quality is lacking. $175 for a table of burgers and it took close to an hour for our food to come out. The burgers were served lukewarm/cold. We were starving by that point so we didn’t really have a choice since it would probably take another hour to get it heated up. Fries are also clearly not fresh and thawed. I might understand if it was packed, but it wasn’t. There were maybe 30-40 people there. 15 or so in our area, maybe 15-20 in the bar area, no one in the special room section and maybe a couple outside. This place used to be the place to be. Now I cannot recommend it to anyone. It’s incredibly frustrating to watch good restaurants fall apart due to poor standards.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner here on April 17, 2026 since it was walking distance from our reception venue. Overall disappointing due to a combination of things. 1. The food was cold and ended up giving the bride food poisoning the morning of the wedding. 2. The table set up was disorganized and unwelcoming. There was no place for the bride and groom to sit and they ended up sitting at a table alone which was disappointing since the point of the rehearsal dinner was for everyone to be together. 3. The servers did not once ask the bride and groom if they wanted anything to drink. The bride and groom were given water by family members since nothing was provided. 4. It was confusing for guests- guests didn’t know where to go for the rehearsal dinner and restaurant staff seemed unhelpful. They just said the room over there in the corner. Many guests were confused on where to go once inside the restaurant. 5. The first red flag should have been the lack of communication. We reached out for months to schedule the rehearsal dinner here and never received responses. We even went in person to inquire and lacked communication and information. Despite this we still chose this place due to the close proximity for all our out of town guests. Overall disappointing venue to host a rehearsal dinner. With the price for food it should have been warm and not cold.
