  Love the people, place, pizza and pizza burger. Chicken sandwich had no flavor and the coleslaw on it made a huge puddle on plate. The fries had no semblance of crisp.

  Gumbo is stewed Chicken, shrimp and andouille sausage. Not thick biscuit gravy with chunks of tough chicken and sauted andouille. Flavorless and bland and the roux hasn't been cooked nearly long enough and far too much is being used. If you customers don't like shrimp don't order gumbo rather than butchering the dish in its entirety to satisfy people who don't respect the cuisine. Collard greens without any vinegar to cut through the bitter and bring out the savory deliciousness of the collards? We use hot sauce in the south to achieve this and to give it some spice. Red pepper flakes, lol.smoked turkey and not pigs feet, acceptable. I feel bad for anyone who thinks this is soul food that's been cooked with care. The absolute basics of soul are missing here. The fried chicken and catfish are done very well however, and their seasoning for the fried items is good. Handmade fries, can't go wrong. Other than that, it exudes mediocrity and lack of knowledge on part of the chef. He should focus on what they do well instead of forcing lackluster items. The Fried items are good but don't butcher the greatest cuisine we can call American in Ohio because nobody knows any better. Just do what you actually know. I hope you can accept criticism and do better. Because you need to.whirl on corn bread, gross, really gross.

  ordered through uber eats. claimed someone picked up my order… 5 minutes after the order was placed. called the restaurant and no one answered. the driver and uber said the restaurant refused tor remake the order. very disappointing because i used to like this place.

  The food was decent, but the oil it was cooked in tasted dirty. Not the quality I’ve received before and become accustomed. Service was great. The cashier not only promptly found my order, but helped me out by opening the door on my way out.
