Belly up to the bar if it's just two of you or grab a table for a group. The Press has an awesome craft beer list with lots of local options and good pub grub. The burgers, wedge salad and steak fries are my go to, but that's always dependent on what's the daily special. Sunday steak night is also a good value.

First visit in my search for new and different restaurants. This will it be on that list. Tried the suggested Nathan’s hot dog. Went for the extras of onions, cheese and coney sauce. Ie tea great and flavorful. Dog? Not so. Practical experience withe Nathan’s east coast and on line review agree that they are served in dog bun. Possibly lightly toasted and or steamed. The dog came in a north east frankfurter top split roll. Dead cold and soft. Coney sauce was something brown with no imagination. Never sure I saw any onions. As for cheese there was both cold yellow and white plastic like varieties. Steamed or grilled HOT hotdog? No. Apparently only low heat available today. Sat in the front window area. A look across the street shows grill and chill. Could have and should have had theirs. Well at least not immediately as it took me 20 minutes to drive to another grill chill and all was dog gone great! Including the hot fudge Sunday Back of pub dark. High Ouse level at Saturday noon. Men’s room had the delightful wafting cold damp urine oder.

Love their burgers and the local, family atmosphere on a Friday night. We had a great meal, and attentive service. It is pretty loud though so if you’re looking for somewhere quiet, this isn’t the spot. Great patio when the weather is warmer.

This place is okay. The food is really good so that’s a big plus. Compared to its other facility on High st. It’s less than what I imagined it was going to be. For starters when we got there the host were super sweet and let us sit at the bar. But from our experience we probably would have gotten better service had we been seated. The bartender got my husband’s drink order wrong. He asked for sprite and was giving lemonade instead. And then when our order was taken I noticed it wasn’t being written down so the chances of it being messed up were more likely and that assumption also came true when the type of fries I ordered were the wrong kind. I’m not super knit picky about these things in the moment, I didn’t make a big deal because I know things get busy in the restaurant industry. But it’s the little things to be remembered from the experience that make it less worth while and more of anxious experience. In addition, the bartender only decided to start a conversation with us once she saw how much cash my husband was carrying. Too add we kept getting almost annoyed looks and faces towards the end of our service from the man who took over the bar. I assume because the bartender was having a hard time. Anything we asked for felt like a burden instead of what we were there to pay for.
