Look, I don’t say this lightly, but this McDonald’s location is without a doubt the **absolute worst in the entire city of Columbus**.
It does not matter what day of the week it is, how empty the drive-thru looks—**every single time** you place an order, without exception, if it is after Noon, you are getting instructed to pull into a waiting spot. It is a 100% guarantee. You could order a single small coffee or a basic double cheeseburger with no modifications while being the only car in line, and like clockwork, the voice on the speaker or the window attendant will tell you to "pull forward and wait." *Every. Single. Time.* They treat the pull-forward spots like their primary assembly line rather than a backup plan for heavy orders.
And if you make the mistake of going after 12:00 pm, the experience somehow gets even worse. If it's past 12:00 PM, **your order will be wrong**. It’s not a *possibility*—it’s an inevitable outcome.
* Ask for no pickles? You’re getting extra pickles.
* Order a meal with a Coke? Enjoy your Sprite—or better yet, a cup full of carbonated water because nobody checked the syrup bags.
* Missing fries, wrong sandwiches, entirely different meal combinations meant for the car behind you—it happens every post-noon visit without fail. You literally have to park, tear open every wrapper, and audit your meal like a tax inspector before driving off, because going home means realizing half your food is wrong or missing.
To top it all off, the customer service in the afternoon and evenings makes the whole ordeal maddening. The staff act like they genuinely do not care about being there, let alone serving you food. There is zero urgency, zero customer service standard, and an overwhelming attitude that your mere presence is an inconvenience to their day. Nobody apologizes for making you wait 15 minutes in a parked spot for a basic order, and if you politely mention that your order is incorrect after noon, you’re met with eye rolls, heavy sighs, and an attitude like *you* did something wrong by expecting to get what you actually paid for.
Columbus has plenty of fast-food spots, but this specific location takes the crown for sheer inconsistency, terrible service, and complete indifference. Save your sanity, save your time, and go literally anywhere else.
