My bun was very wet and soggy on my burger but my boyfriend’s burger wasn’t and it was barely any toppings and sauce on the burger. We usually are able to split a small fry and when we look in the bag the fries are not even filled up all the way ridiculous ordered Cajun btw and got regular fries with little to no Cajun seasoning. Came at 1:25pm 9/15/2026 whoever was there needs disciplined !

While eating my sandwich, I discovered an actual bottle cap inside of it. I am currently pregnant AND I have braces, so finding a hard plastic object hidden inside my food was especially concerning. I could have swallowed it, choked, cut my mouth and potentially damaged my teeth. I broke a bracket!!!!. This was not a minor mistake it was a serious food-safety issue. What has made the situation even more frustrating is the response I received. After reporting what happened, the only resolution offered to me was a comp card to come back and eat at Five Guys again. Respectfully, after finding a bottle cap inside my sandwich, another meal from the restaurant is the last thing that feels like an appropriate resolution. I have photos documenting the sandwich and the bottle cap, and I expected this situation to be treated with significantly more urgency and concern. At minimum, I expected someone to investigate how a bottle cap ended up inside food being served to a customer and to take accountability for what happened. Mistakes can happen, but a plastic object inside someone's food is a serious safety hazard, and the way a company responds matters. As a pregnant customer with braces, I am incredibly disappointed that the seriousness of this situation seems to have been reduced to simply offering me free food to return. *mind you this happened July 13th and nothing has been done!

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
