I enjoy customer service with a smile & there's 2 total employees who give that. I do not know the young man's name, but always has a smile on his face. These newer ones coming through have no patience.

As a rideshare driver, I purchased a coffee from a different dunkin’ donuts location in Columbus (same city as this dunkin location), and through the drive-thru, I should add. Requested them to remake the coffee at the first location, because it wasn’t hot enough (cup was barely warm). They gladly did and remade it, this time much warmer, and basically hot. I did not taste it before I drove away, thinking it was made the same way as the first. Unfortunately story it wasn’t but I had a passenger to pick up and take to the airport, so I could not make it back to that location and came to THIS location an hour later WITH my receipt. I showed the receipt to the employee at the counter and told him my situation and he understood. He got the manager and she refused to make me a new coffee, as the location I went to originally was not mixer their ownership. As I understand times are tough, and it does make a difference, this is pennies on the dollar the make things right for the brand and to keep the customers happy and returning. But to this Indian owner/franchisee, that was not important. It was more important for him to make the sale on a coffee, than to alleviate a problem. What if I had not brought in a receipt showing the other location I went to, and told them that I went to a different location that WAS under this franchisee’s ownership? I’m sure they wooo up me r gladly exchanged and remade me a coffee, no problem. Terrible handling of a problem that has now led to negative publicity, and corporate will hear about this. Sad part is, the initial employee who helped me and listened to my situation first when I walked in, was apologetic up u til the moment I left. As a previous dunkin donuts employees, when I was in college, and working in the service industry my entire life, this could t have been handled in a worse manner. Very sad.
