  An amazing little find here in the Short North. Absolutely authentic Cajun food. Amazing taste and spice to it. I had the greens gumbo and couldnt stop eating it. I had it with spicy rice, but you can get regular white if you wanted. Want Cajun food in Columbus, I recommend coming here.

  We ordered take out from here first time customers. The bourbon chicken was excellent. Large portions. We will be back.

  The first time I tried this place, my dad brought me a Shrimp Po Boy to go and the sandwich had stayed with him for about an hour or two. Even at almost two hours old, It was heavenly. The amount of shrimp in the sandwich was far more than what I’d imagined a restaurant would be comfortable giving me for $16. I went to try it in person for the first time right before a Blue Jackets game and I got the Catfish Po Boy. The freshly fried, hot piece of catfish was twice the size of the sandwich itself lol, pleasantly surprising me yet again. My dad got the blackened chicken Po Boy, let’s just say I was jealous. The Jerk egg roll and the cheeseburger egg roll were both stellar as well; a perfect addition to an already mouthwatering and filling meal. The fries were abundant, flavorful, very well seasoned, and hot. As a sauce lover, I particularly appreciate the sauce rack they have next to the fountain drinks. The wide variety of Southern/Creole style sauces add a layer of flavor that isn’t at all necessary but enhances the already rich layers within each bite. The staff make the place even more special which is definitely saying something considering how amazing the food is. Lyle and Aveon (I hope I didn’t butcher your name 😅) have this exceptional patience and passion when it comes to explaining each and every aspect of anything on the menu, all the way from the spices and breading to the way the cultural significance each item has in Southern culture. Their pleasant attitudes even under heavy traffic is truly intoxicating and is something that makes me want to stop by every time I’m in the area. You’d be doing yourself a huge disservice if you walk past this place and not try it. 10/10
