Im not one to always give a 5 star review but I have to admit that Brio earned it through and through. Their staff was excellent with a fantastic attitude and were incredibly responsive. Not only did they make conversation but it was evident they were genuine in the care they took towards the customer. The food was fantastic with great flavor and a clear care taken to ensure it was prepared perfectly without too large of a portion as I often experience at Italian restaurants. We ended up asking the chef to stop by so that we could thank them for the wonderful food and when the sous chef came out they were polite and sat down to have a conversation. Finally the dessert was great. We had a chocolate chip bread putting topped with a vanilla gelato. All of which was fantastic. The sweetness was well balanced with the bitterness of of the chocolate and while the portion was a little on the larger side it was perfect to share with a friend or significant other. Thanks for the fantastic experience and giving us another amazing reason to visit Columbus ohio again!

Overall Sunday was the worst experience we have ever had a Brio. Our server, Edmund, was terrible. I know it was busy due to Mother's day, however he ignored us many times and served other tables. We had to ask several times for things. He then waited so long before coming back after 30 mins to tell us that brunch was sold out. We then had to ask another server for bread, butter, and plates because he never brought it. He finally started to bring food. He still continued to check on other tables besides ours. When packing our food, he then told us there were no more bags. At the end, he checked us out. I was waiting to give a cash tip but did not because he came to the table and basically questioned us about his tip. He then came back a 2nd time saying something about his tip. We thought this was inappropriate and rude. We were there for 2.5 hours.

We have visited Brio Italian Grille at Easton many times over the years and have consistently enjoyed both the food and service, which made our recent Mother’s Day experience especially disappointing. After a movie, we stopped in for dinner and experienced some of the worst service we’ve had in a long time. We were transferred between servers, had our drink order taken twice, and waited nearly an hour just to receive drinks for our table. Our server disappeared multiple times, and we ultimately had to find a manager ourselves just to get our food order placed. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, it took approximately 1.5 hours from being seated to finally receiving food. The entire experience felt disorganized, poorly managed, and far below what we previously experienced at this location. The manager apologized and gave us a $25 promotional card for a future visit, but after the experience we had, it did not feel like an appropriate resolution. It’s unfortunate because this used to be one of our favorite Easton restaurants. Sadly, Brio appears to have gone significantly downhill in both service and management.

Normally, I’m a fan of Brio, but they have continually mismanaged their staff and restaurant. Today is Mother’s Day and they really dropped the ball. If you (a restaurant) knows you have a 17-person party coming in 6 - 10 weeks ahead of time; and you still don’t allocate more than one person to person manage the table —- the point where we’re waiting on drinks and food for more than 30 minutes apiece. This is unacceptable. We had to wait to get seated 30 mins after scheduled reservation; then had us sit for 30 mins for bread, another 30 for a SINGLE round of drinks, and it’s been almost an hour since we were ordered food. I get that 17 people is a lot, but if you’re an established restaurant such as this, it should not be this difficult. Do better — either fire your managers or get more staff.

I’m extremely disappointed and honestly upset with my experience at this restaurant. We arrived at 6:00 PM, and by 7:40 PM, we still hadn’t been served our main course. It took over 15 minutes just for someone to acknowledge us and take our drink order. For that alone, the service was already unacceptable. What made it worse was how we were treated compared to other guests. Tables that arrived after us were quickly given bread and attentive service, while my niece and I were completely overlooked. After waiting more than 30 minutes, I asked a staff member for help. She gave a vague response, said she would check with the kitchen and bring us bread, but nothing ever came. It was very clear that she had no intention of actually helping us. We continued waiting a long time for appetizers, and then had to wait even longer again for the main course. At that point, we were exhausted and frustrated. We had no choice but to take the food to go because we simply could not wait any longer. The food we received was unacceptable. It was clearly packed from the kitchen without ever being properly served, and the quality was honestly worse than fast food. For a restaurant at this price level, that is completely unacceptable. The service was unprofessional, inattentive, and disrespectful. We felt ignored the entire time we were there. It was also very obvious that we were treated differently compared to other customers, which made the experience even more uncomfortable and concerning. This is not my first time here, but this visit was by far the worst. It was a frustrating, exhausting, and deeply disappointing experience.
