  We only received two of the four meals in our takeout order. This caused me to have to drive back to the restaurant to pick up the other portion of our food, leaving some of our family members without anything to eat and unable to eat together as a family. This should have been addressed with some type of credit or refund to part of our cost for the meal. Instead, I was offered an avocado drink, a yogurt drink, and a tiramisu... That doesn't begin to address the inconvenience experienced. Additionally, I feel that the the owner/manager (who was there when I picked up my order) should have been present when I returned, to address this matter. The young man that was left in the store do not seem to have the authority to make this right. I wanted to support this business, but this was not a good first experience.

  Very good food, a *little* pricey for what you get. They were out of what I ordered at first. The feeling from the staff was down-home: sweet but a bit slow, which I don't really mind.

  The food is amazing!! Came here from Rochester NY expecting what I’m used to there, but the jollof rice and oxtails were fantastic, better than anything I’ve ever had in Rochester! The little puff pastries were so delish and even tho they were out of tres leches they gave me the tiramisu and it was phenomenal!! Hopefully I get a chance to come back before we leave! Thank you!

  We had a late lunch after voting. The food is ordered Chipotle style: pick a base, then a protein with a huge array of optional sides. I had the spicy chicken, spicy rice, vegetables, cucumbers and salad, hard boiled egg, plaintans with a spicy sauce. My wife had the super-tender roasted goat with yellow rice, beans, plaintains, salad, cucumbers and the same spicy sauce. We both were given warm, sweet crepes at check out - so good! Staff and the owner were helpful & super personable. Portions are generous. We were so hungry but my wife still had to take some of her lunch home. The dining area is spotless. Our first time here but not our last.
