Never paid attention to this restaurant on the strip but one day we stopped in for breakfast. Love the decor, the young waitress is so nice and attentive. Cook talked us into warm chocolate chip cookies after breakfast...( my weakness..lol) But, seriously, he is a great cook. Don't hesitate to give Hatfield's a try. You'll love it.

Hatfield’s Goode Grub is the kind of neighborhood diner that makes you want to come back, not just because of the food, but because of the people. This was our second visit, and once again, we left with the same positive and pleasant feeling we had the first time.
The service crew is friendly, welcoming, and down to earth. What really makes this place stand out for us, though, is the owner/chef. We absolutely love how he takes the time to come out and briefly chitchat with his customers. He doesn’t make you feel like you’re just another table waiting to be served. He talks to you like a friend, and that personal touch creates such a warm and comfortable atmosphere. You can tell he genuinely appreciates the people who come into his restaurant.
The food has been consistently good on both of our visits. This time, we had the biscuits and gravy, and it was exactly the kind of hearty, comforting diner breakfast you want. Good portions, satisfying food, and a relaxed atmosphere make this a great place to start the day.
After two visits and two positive experiences, Hatfield’s Goode Grub is quickly becoming one of those places we’re happy to return to. Great food is important, but genuinely friendly people can turn a good restaurant into a memorable one. Definitely recommended!

The bar was short staffed but the experience was still exceptional. Chef came and sold us on the ribs and he did not disappoint. It was a really wonderful dinner.
The atmosphere gives you pleasure to look at and fully leans into the old Southern fude between Hatfields family.
Service is attentive and friendly!
But the food, oh man it's real good. I was here like 6 years ago and the food still holds up. We got the cracklingand pimiento cheese. The rinds were fresh, still popping when they came to the table. Not too salty and then cheese was just the right amount of gooey and soft. Very rich and the perfect with the fresh cracklins.
I got the catfish and cheesy grits, not usually how I have my catfish but I've been won over. Gooey, savory and buttery. Perfect. Come check this place out. And try their housemade desserts. Softest tastiest chocolate chip cookie I've ever sampled. And the blueberry cobbler, definitely made with wild blueberries and flaky cobbles.
No shortcuts here, keep doing what y'all are doing!
