  Impressively slow and dysfunctional. I watched two employees fight over who got to use the toaster first for about 4 minutes with a line people waiting.

  We entered Bruegger’s Bagels from the side without any visible signage explaining where to order or pick up. My partner asked an employee (possibly the manager? He was wearing glasses) behind the counter if she could order a hash brown. Instead of simply explaining where to go, he responded rudely, asking, “Coffee or hash brown?” When she repeated that she wanted a hash brown, he snapped, “You’ve got to go down the other side.” When we went to the other counter and mentioned the confusing setup, the employee there defended him by saying he was yelling because we had ordered from the wrong side. That’s exactly the problem: if customers are repeatedly ordering from the “wrong” side, the signage clearly isn’t adequate. There was no reason for either employee to be rude over a simple and understandable mistake. The entire interaction was unnecessarily hostile and extremely aggravating. Airport customers already have limited choices, and it sometimes feels as though businesses take advantage of that because they know people are essentially a captive audience. Proper signage and basic courtesy would have prevented the whole situation.

  I want to start off by saying the cashier is the sweetest person in the whole entire airport and is the only thing holding this place together. Her customer service is above and beyond. She deserves a raise and all the recognition for her patience with her coworkers. The people preparing the food are awful, in particular one lady. She must have skipped my order somehow as many people after me received food and I was still waiting. Then when she called my initials (I ordered egg, cheese, pastrami on pumpernickel) and says egg and cheese on pumpernickel, I figured she forgot to say pastrami so I grab it since no one else claimed it and it was with my initials. Anyway, I open it and it’s wrong, so I tell her. She aggressively grabs the sandwich and throws it in the trash and goes off on me telling me that’s why she said what it is. Then she never asks what my order was or even attempted to make another one, not until the cashier told her to stop whatever she’s doing and make my bagel. It took almost 30 mins to get my bagel, when the people in line near me got in around 5-7 mins. Besides the time though, it was the awful attitude of the lady making the bagels with the lighter color hair. Maybe making bagels or dealing with people in general isn’t her thing. Mind you I was calm the whole time, I did not provoke her, etc. Would never return here, I actually deeply regret purchasing from here.

  I had to sleep overnight in Cleveland due to airlines fault, and was given a food voucher to use. I placed order and unfortunately they weren’t able to use the voucher since no credit card was connected but had lost credit card and cell phone during my trip. The manager Jonathan was able to assist and figure it out so I was able to get my order. The western bagel sandwich and twice baked hashbrown was great! The lady making the order was efficient and kept the line moving along, great service!

  “Authentic New York style” right down to the New York attitude as well. The food was decent, which is the nicest thing I have to say about this place. The order process is unorganized and confusing, with no signs and employees who get annoyed when you don’t understand and don’t bother to explain as you pass by the order section until it’s too late, and angrily send you back into the line. They repeatedly got people’s order wrong, snapped at the customers, talked rudely about said customers right in front of them, and were very slow with minimal communication on what was going on with your order. For a $10 bagel I had hoped for a better experience, and I gave the other people in line a heads up on the services (or lack thereof) they were about to receive. I fly frequently, and next time I will be sure to avoid this place. I am fortunate that I am comfortable with flying, because for anyone nervous about a flight this type of experience would 100% make my day worse. If you have a flight to catch and want a quick, cheap, and pleasant bite, be sure to go somewhere else, because this place was none of the three.
