  Was promising looking and were seated quickly after concert. Server was slow to say hello but was busy. Offered complementary chips and salsa and were asked if we would like queso. Said yes and only later found out just the cup of cheese was $8! More than a beer! Felt tricked, especially since it’s electronic table pay and you don’t actually see the bill until receipt prints and had to ask for it. Beer was stale. Food was generally good but nothing stood out. Taste was generically cafeteria style. Oh! And the beer and queso didn’t arrive until well after the food! We also overheard nearby table complaining about stale beer and slow service.

  Barrio has been a place I've reviewed in the past but not any location in Ohio. I first experienced Barrio in my hometown of Haverhill Massachusetts. After discovering that Barrio started in Cleveland I waited for the day to come that allowed me to finally try out one of my faves from back home but in their home instead. employees Emma and Altoya put in the time and effort to make my experience even on a late Wednesday night was enjoyable! For the review readers I included the slips of the tacos I ordered for easy reading. Both my passion fruit and white peach margaritas with ginger rim were delicious beverages! Definitely pay these folks a visit if you're in town!

  Terrible late night experience. The manager was aggressive and rude. She lied about policy and basically scammed people trying to have a meal and drink at the end of the night. The waitress was kind but clearly did not not policy.

  I don't mean to sound like a commercial but: If you’re anywhere near downtown Cleveland and craving a taco, you definitely want to stop at Barrio! 🌮 Barrio is a Cleveland staple, with locations in Downtown Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, and Willoughby. Not only do they have some of the best tacos in town, but their sauces are absolutely delicious! The Cilantro Lime sauce is my personal favorite—it’s so good, I could put it on just about everything! And if you’re planning a meeting, corporate event, celebration, or any type of gathering, Barrio is definitely a place to consider. Their catering setup is beautiful and incredibly well thought out. Everything is labeled, the bottles have the names on them, and the little name tags make it easy for everyone to know exactly what they’re getting without constantly asking. The presentation is on point, the food is delicious, and the portions will definitely leave your entire team or crew impressed AND stuffed! If you’re looking for great tacos, great sauces, and a catering experience that takes the stress out of feeding a crowd, Barrio is the spot! 🌮🔥
