  If I could give this review lower than one star, I would. When I review, I think of the "delta" between expectations and reality. If I pay Michelin star prices I expect more than I would from a taco truck or a fast food drive though. That said, never in my life have I been more astonished at the gap between these what I expected and what I received. The Turf Club was heralded by many reviewers (here on Google and on Reddit) as a Cincinnati institution, a place where patrons could get an affordable, delicious, and high quality burger. The reality is that I paid $50 for two burgers and 1 side of fries for lunch. If this was a good burger I could stomach it but what I got was the most disappointing burger I have ever eaten. The bun and burger fell apart immediately and I posit that the reason the menu recommends not cutting it in half is simply because the structural integrity of the burger cannot handle it. I am writing this review 10 months after dining at the Turf Club because I still think about how disappointed I felt after my experience. This is a business that by all accounts earned a great reputation many years ago. Today, it stands as an overpriced burger joint that has no business being recommended as the best burger in Cincinnati. TL;DR: Expectations minus reality equals disappointment. Was great but is now an overpriced establishment which has nothing more than its history to stand behind.

  Honestly its been awhile since ive been to the turf club and quite frankly,this visit wasn't nearly as satisfactory and satisfying. Ordered the premium filet mignon burger cooked medium and when I say it was highly underwhelming, its an understatement. It was overcooked drastically, nowhere near medium,quite tough to be honest and the flavor was severely lacking. Even with all the regular fix ins of your typical burger, it tasted like... nothing. Also ordered onion rings and you could squeeze the oil off of them they were super greasy as if they marinated in oil and the golden chicken tenders? Just horrid. All ripped up like they started ripping them and then just stopped. $30+ down the stinker..... maybe they were getting slammed, maybe someone was just having a bad day but man this is not how I remember this place.

  Friendly service, food was great despite some pesky flies and cobwebs in the decorations. Kids loved the mini burgers cookies, music was not loud like other places, so it was a pleasure to enjoy a family conversation while eating good food, definitely this time it will not take couple of years to comeback.

  My whole family loves this place. The food is always delicious and the service is always amazing. My kids love finding the Mickey's hidden around the restaurant and getting a little treat after they eat.,

  They let us pick seats as we walked in, super friendly staff helped us within seconds of walking in. Bobbi gave us drinks to try and they were amazong i couldnt believe they were alcoholic!! This place is definitely a best kept secret!!! Add this restaurant to your list becuase its the best burger in town… when i say i do not like burgers, i do not like them and i got one from them. IT WAS DELICIOUS. I forget my servers name but she was amazing and i would return anyday. I came on 6/3/26 around 6:30pm.
