I hadn’t been to a Goldstar in 20+ years since moving away from Cincinnati, but this location completely lived up to my memory. The staff was great and the manager was very friendly. I will return next time I am in Cincinnati for work.

The food was short this lastime even kinda a dry cooney with a drop of chili but they definitely gave me a made up packaging and poor undersized fry for my daughters kids meal I literally get The same thing over and over for and she wasn't in the car so I feel like they didn't even actually make the fries for the kids meal they put a cheese coney inside a 2 coney box and added a cpl fries on the side of the cheese Coney as if that's how I've ever gotten it the last 10 years. I really should have called to complain because 4 french fries inside The same container that the cheese coney was in-is not how it's served and I believe it was done on purpose because I was in the drive-thru and idk if they felt some kinda way because my daughter wasmt in the car ? I've never known there to be age limits on kids meals but she's never in the car with me because I get it for on my way home from work on my third shift job so it's generally morning time and I get it for her lunch when I don't feel like cooking since school's out still. I mean kindergarten is just now starting soon but I do not feed her any fast food but for whatever reason as much as I'd prefer her to not love cheese coneys and all things chili and cheese I generally will only approve of certain fast food (no mcD! Etc.) and Gold Star best count their lucky stars because I literally do not give her any other fast foods as often if at all. And trust me I know it is not particularly healthy but it's something that I introduced and now I can't stop it is easy and I'm a certainly will not be discriminated against because she's not in the car I don't think that constitutes for them to give me less food just because she's not in the car to make up sizes of proportions is not even okay and yeah I definitely have the receipt and proof so hopefully it was just a ironic mistake but Ig I'll find out because next week we're supposed to be having the boys over and their still little but they all love some chilli n cheese and I know I am not going to be trying to cook with twins and my girl all under the age of 5 so anyways if you made it to the ends of my rant of of unnecessary irrelevant details and a serious lack of punctuation++--Then next time don't play me on my food ! No undergiving on food. Its too expensive these days to begin with I don't think anyone is going to be okay with getting a dry cheese cooney and 4 french fries in the same container calling that even a kids meal is not yalls standard nor should it be ! So I will be glad to update this and I am gonna be sure to do so with an updated review on My next go there and it may be sooner than later because me talking so much about this has got me hungry. Dang.

Attempted murder. That was my experience at the Springdale Gold Star. After my failed experience in Evendale, I figured - if I go inside, explain I have a mustard allergy and order Cheese Coneys with no Mustard, and the receipt says no mustard, and when they hand the bag off to me they say it has no mustard, then they will probably not have mustard. They had mustard. I don't understand. It is very simple, you just don't put mustard on it. An epi-pen is about $250 and the trip to the ER is well, yeah. Thankfully checking food first is important, but at what point does an accident turn into maleficence? Listen, being upset aside, this is actually an extremely serious matter given the entire context of the situation. Not cool.
