I stopped into Fresh Thyme real quick while running errands for my mother in her car to pick up a few items for dinner, including a bottle of port. Because I wasn't in my usual car, I didn't have my cloth bags with me—which I’m used to carrying after living in California for 30 years. When I got home, the bottle of port fell right through the flimsy plastic bag they provided. It was not wrapped in paper or double-bagged. This is actually the second time this has happened to me; a month ago, a glass bottle of juice fell through one of their bags in the pouring rain, and I was so soaked cleaning it up in the parking lot that I didn't even bother going back inside. I brought the broken port bottle back the next day. While the manager did replace it, she repeatedly kept telling me how I could purchase bags from them. I explained to her multiple times that I already have my own bags and was simply in a different car, but she just kept repeating, "We have bags that you could purchase." She continued to gaslight me instead of just admitting they were wrong and that their staff should have packaged a heavy glass bottle properly so it wouldn't fall through. Very disappointing customer service.

Staff is great and parking is easy. Good selection of food, nice yogurt selection, and their pickle shot is really good (over with the fresh juices). Sometimes out of stuff though — last time they had no fresh green beans, this time no mint and almost no lemons. Good shopping but maybe not your one stop shop for groceries

I came in to get weighed nuts the older lady asked me what' the number for the nuts that she couldn't ring them out without, but what she didn't know is I always come in for the nuts and never have had any numbers for them unfortunately I didn't have enough time to go check and she didn't let me purchase them so I won't be back
