Just a world class experience. The views of the park, river, bridge and Covington are great. The beer selection is great and includes seasonal brews. The menu is a perfect reflection of the city it resides in. Classic, eclectic, German, and high quality. Had the Benedict with shredded beef, biscuits, eggs and hollandaise. Stick to your ribs perfection. My brother had the Rueben which he devoured. Also salads and sausages were had by our guests. Our server was attentive and knew the menu well. I recommend.

Diamond was absolutely amazing! From the moment we were seated, she was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, checked on us often, and was always quick to help with anything we needed. Her positive attitude and outstanding customer service made our entire dining experience even better. If you have the chance, definitely ask for Diamond you won’t be disappointed! Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable!

TLDR: Great location. Pretty meh otherwise. Try Jefferson Social instead.
This place continues to confound me. First, it can’t be denied. The location is tremendous. Across from the Reds Stadium, with a riverfront view… it can’t be beat. The astounding part has always been the poor service and mediocre food. My friends and I always say we’ll quit doing group reservations here. Then a few months pass. We forget. And appreciate that they accept larger reservations. But my goodness… I’ve never waited longer for a fried appetizer, or wondered how the staff is so overwhelmed by a half-empty establishment more than I have at the LagerHouse. This was true when it was Moerlein. It’s still true now.
While it was packed with table waits over an hour (baseball game and world cup), we were able to sit at the bar upstairs and get quick drinks and food. The cider is great, especially during happy hour! The app sampler was also a win. Would come back anytime we're in Cincinnati.
For 10 years I’ve wanted to like this place, but the service is so bad every time I try it. For their latest fail they turned everyone away yesterday at 945pm when 43,000 people were leaving the stadium. Who closes that early on a Saturday night with a sold out crowd? Maybe somebody with a brain will buy this place when they eventually go out of business. Until that happens go down the street to Yard House where they will take care of you.
