I paid $8.00 - that’s right - EIGHT DOLLARS - for a DQ famous blizzard (a Large Heath) to share with my friend. First, after I ordered, she came back and asked, “Did you say Snickers or Heath?” “Heath,” I said and looked over at my friend and said, “They do not even sound the same?!” When I finally got to the window, I ASKED, “Is it HEATH?” And I did this because twice in the last two months, my order has been WRONG. The young man says it is and hands it to me. On the five minute drive home, we’re spooning bites, and it’s literally nothing but ice cream - albeit good soft-serve ice cream - but JUST ICE CREAM. No HEATH. None. Zero. Not a single chunk of toffee chip to be found. We get home and I call DQ. I politely but adamantly try to explain, we’re just over 1/2-way through this blizzard and have not hit a single piece of toffee. She says she remembers me because she’s the one who asked, “Snickers or Heath,” - “did I REMEMBER!?” How could I forget? It seems so incredibly trivial, but I’m a person of principal; when I pay that much money for something - something I rarely get - I don’t think it’s too much to ask that it be made correctly. So what does she say and how does she speak to me? Like I’m a liar and like she couldn’t care less. That’s how. She says, and I quote, “Well, there’s nothing I can do about it. I know how I made it - I made it myself, and I put 4 scoops in it.” AND I AM THE ONE EATING IT, AND I’M TELLING YOU, IT’S NOTHING BUT ICE CREAM. No apology. She just spoke to me argumentatively and rudely, and wouldn’t listen to me. I even asked if it was possible it didn’t get mixed properly and the candy was all the way at the bottom. She said, “No. I told you I made it MYSELF; it’s mixed in LAYERS throughout the cup.” I asked when the manager would be available because my friend said, “She is not going to make this right.” “I AM THE MANAGER,” she said, “and if you come back down, I’ll fix you another one. There’s nothing I can do about it now.” I swear she said that five times. “I am NOT coming back down.” I hung up. I hope everyone thinks twice before ordering a blizzard from this location. For $8.00, Kroger has an excellent Caramel-toffee ice cream - 2/$5.00. Actually, I would have saved myself $3.00, being called a liar, AND being spoken to like NO MANAGER should EVER speak to a customer, EVVVVVVVVER. By the way, she was right - she did put four scoops in - ALL 4 scoops were, JUST AS I ASKED, at the very bottom of the cup. Rock bottom. Truth.

Ordered a fry, an Oreo mint blizzard with cookie dough, and a banana split with only chocolate. Banana split had everything on it, blizzard had no cookie dough and barely any mint syrup was added to the ice cream. Fries were cooked in the oldest oil I've seen in years, tasted like everything else they've had in there the past week. The wait was insanely long for a walk up window and a single lane drive thru that took orders one at a time. There were a total of 2 tables for seating, covered in bird poop, made of old, splintery wood. This isn't the fault of the restaurant, but the atmosphere is entirely engine noise. You're standing about 10 feet from the active roadway while ordering. There was also someone with their daughter that wanted 20 minutes for an online order. The lady at the window was rude, dismissive, and needed Accutane. Ended up paying $20.45 for something I didn't order, old fries, and not getting a topping in my blizzard that I paid an extra $1.69 for. TL;DR just go to the one on bridge street.
