M Italian boasts a true Italian atmosphere; it’s graced by its wide open spaces and an open kitchen that allows guests to be involved in a total Chef Art Pour dining experience. M Italian features classic Italian dishes such as pastas and salads with a Chef-driven twist -- along with distinctive pizzas home-cooked in our wood-burning oven.
M Italian has excellent waitstaff and an interesting and varied ambience. I wish the food had risen to the occasion.
My husband ordered the scallops with risotto. This entree was $44, and barely enough to adequately feed a child. He also felt it wasn't the best scallop dish he's ever had. He did enjoy the meatball appetizer; I tried it too, and it was delicious.
I had the Angus sirloin, rare. I wasn't impressed; while cooked to order, it just wasn't very interesting (and the Tuscan mash was overly salted). My appetizer was the Burrata Caprese. Like my husband's meal, the app was much better than the entree.
I feel we paid premium money for a so-so meal.

I wanted to start by saying that the food and service were outstanding. Even though it was much busier than we expected and we didn’t have a reservation, the staff did a great job taking care of us once we were seated.
Unfortunately, our first impression wasn’t the best. When we walked in, the female manager at the host stand came across as very unwelcoming. It felt like we were inconveniencing her just by asking about a table, which immediately set the tone for our visit.
What really stood out, though, was that for the entire time we were there, she seemed permanently stationed at the host stand while the restaurant was packed. We watched servers, hosts, bussers, and food runners constantly moving and helping each other, yet she appeared to contribute very little. With my family being in the industry, we had all commented multiple times that her time could have been much better spent supporting the staff instead of standing there watching everyone else work.
It’s a shame because every other employee we interacted with was hardworking, friendly, and made us want to come back. The manager, however, left a completely different impression. Leadership sets the tone for a restaurant, and based on what we witnessed, that aspect fell well below the standard that the rest of the staff worked so hard to uphold.

My 2 friends and I went out to eat here and had a horrible experience. My one friend ordered the carbonara which came out looking like soup. My other friend has celiac disease so she is gluten free due to an allergy. They advertised their salmon as gluten free and my friend specified she was allergic to gluten. They brought her salad with gluten on it, she sent it back, they brought it out again with the same fish that touched the gluten and then came back and said their was gluten in the marinade that the salmon is soaked in again AFTER she had eaten it which will make her very sick. They then brought it out a third time with grilled chicken. The manager came out, didn’t even apologize, we were also there for 2.5 hours dealing with this. They also did not do much to compensate this experience at all. I would also like to preface this was not the fault of the server, she was nice and apologetic unlike the manager. I have worked in food service since I was 15, I am very understanding and patient but this was completely unacceptable. A waste of time and money and we were quite frankly embarrassing to keep having same conversation and get ultimately no where. And to have basically no compensation besides those 2 items comped (we still paid for drinks, appetizers, etc.) when our friend will be sick from this is beyond me. I have been on the other side of this scenario before at the restaurants I have worked at, and this is bad business and we will not be coming back.

I have been a long time fan of M Italian, however after my visit yesterday I am unsure if I want to return. I visited with a large group for a birthday celebration. Let me start off by saying the wait staff was great, no complaints. I was disappointed with my food option. I tried the lobster ravioli which was recommended as a seasonal special. It should have been offered as an appetizer due to the portion size being extremely small in comparison to a typical meal. I had to send it back because it came out cold. Another person in my party ordered a chicken dish that also had to be sent back because it was cold and incomplete. The dust on chandelier’s was extremely thick and an eye sore as you attempted to eat and pray that nothing fell down. I have never eaten on the inside so I am unaware of this is the norm or something new. Also, as I was waiting for my food I happened to look up and notice that the older woman who was standing by the register and placing the meals on the counter for the wait staff to pick up (she had on jeans) used her bare hand to sprinkle a topping on a meal and after sprinkling the topping with her bare hand she began to scratch her arm with the same hand. This was absolutely disgusting. Someone needs to have a talk with her and explain the importance of hand hygiene and food handling. I am so upset because this was one of my favorite restaurants but after this experience I am unsure if I will ever return.

This is not okay. I have pictures.
On Friday night I watched two sports cars parked in accessible parking spaces without valid disability parking permits. One of them was parked by the owner of his own sports car not the valet.
Accessible parking is not reserved for luxury cars or egos that need massaged . It is reserved for people with disabilities who rely on those spaces to safely access businesses, deploy wheelchair ramps and lifts, and enter and exit their vehicles with dignity.
Too often, people see these spaces as the “best” parking spots or a way to protect an expensive car from door dings. They are neither. They are a critical accessibility accommodation protected by law.
When someone parks in an accessible space without authorization, they are sending a message that their convenience is more important than someone else’s ability to participate in everyday life.
If you don’t have a valid disability parking permit, please don’t park there—not even “for just a minute.” Also the valet Parker’s should not have allowed this. Those spaces can mean the difference between someone being able to enter your business or having to leave.
Respect accessibility. Respect the law. Most importantly, respect people with disabilities.
Unfortunately our waitress was inattentive and not pleasant. Our food was just ok for the price.
