  I recently visited Manna for a birthday celebration with a medium-sized party, and overall, it was a beautiful experience in terms of the ambiance. The restaurant is elegant, well-designed, and would be a great setting for birthdays, celebrations, or a nice dinner. It is on the pricier side, but I do feel that the portion sizes generally match the price. Our waitress was also amazing. She was patient, professional, attentive, and did a great job taking care of our group. However, there were several inconsistencies throughout our experience that I feel the restaurant could improve. We were initially told that bringing a cake into the facility would be a $5 charge, but later we were told the charge was actually $25. That was a pretty significant difference and honestly caught us off guard. I strongly recommend having the cake fee clearly listed on the website and communicated consistently to customers before they arrive, especially for people planning birthday celebrations. We also experienced a few other inconsistencies, including incorrect items being placed on tabs and receiving conflicting information. These things can become frustrating when you're celebrating a special occasion and trying to keep everything organized. The food was good and the portions were appropriate for the price, although we would have preferred some of the food to be served hotter. Overall, I think Manna is a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere and would definitely be a nice place to host a birthday or special event. Our waitress provided excellent service, and the facility itself is gorgeous. I just believe there is room for improvement when it comes to consistency, communication, food temperature, and making additional fees,especially the $25 cake fee..clear to customers upfront. Better transparency would make the experience much smoother and prevent surprises for guests.

  Short rib ragu was very good (maybe a bit al dente for me personally, but people who like that will love it). Lavender cheesecake also great. Service was very pleasant, and the top floor is really gorgeously decorated.

  Overall it was fine. I suppose that's the word for this review, "fine." Nothing was really bad but nothing was extraordinary and, or validated the pricing. Highlights were the bread service, scallops and empanadas, all appetizers. The entrees: lamb chops which were tiny and overdone served with a mountain of couscous but definitely not worth $55. The Arrachera De Peru, wonderful flavors, but the one sprig of brocolli, while charred was raw and the mashed potatoes were fine. Since this was our first time we were all in so dessert was next. The semi-freddo was a hit but the cheesecake was just less than fine; burnt on top, unbalanced flavors and poorly plated. The stand-out of the evening was Deb our waitress, gracious, attentive just enough and kind. The evening was fine and we ate everything but for the prices it should be better than fine.
