Nice place. Went for a wedding celebration. Food was good and drinks were well made. Definitely a place you could hold a party at if needed.

Disappointing food, but great drinks and serviceWe have previously eaten at both the Cuyahoga Falls and Solon locations, so we were excited to try the Burntwood Tavern in Brecksville. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to our past experiences. We started with the homemade potato chip appetizer, but the chips arrived cold and soggy. My salmon salad was completely inedible; the vegetables were rotten, and the salmon had a very unappealing, off-putting smell. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich, and while he did manage to eat it, the chicken was heavily breaded and very overcooked. On a positive note, our drinks were great, the historic building itself is beautiful, and our server provided excellent service. Sadly, the kitchen fell short during this visit.

Had a great time on Wednesday! Our server Brittany was awesome, she suggested the steak frites which we're delicious.

Very mid. Smash burger was clearly not. Salad wet and asked for no blue cheese... Covered in it. Firecracker shrimp used to be unique. Now it's just franks with honey covered over cooked shrimp. Disappointed

I truly don’t remember the last time I had such a bad dining experience. I’ve been to a burntwood a couple times but my husband who has never been decided he wanted to try it. We looked at the menu ahead of time and decided on the lunch combo. We ordered it and they came back and said that’s only weekdays. Even though it was on the menu and the waitress let us order it. She even mentioned that they allowed it two weeks ago but I guess now they don’t. That was really frustrating because everything we ordered is still on the menu. So what do you mean we can’t order that? We all reordered, got our food. My mom ordered the shrimp tacos. She took one bite and was freaking out how salty they were. So I thought I’d try and see if maybe she was over exaggerating. I have neverrrr tasted anything so salty. My husband then tried it and we all made the same face. How can anyone eat this? My husband ordered a cod sandwich and the sandwich was so dry, turns out they forgot the sauce that goes on it. I ordered a chicken club sandwich and lobster bisque. The chicken club was “okay” based on all the poor food we got but the lobster bisque was the worst lobster bisque I’ve ever had. Not to mention minor things like the table was shaking and my husbands chair was on the verge of breaking. The floor was so slippery my mom almost fell when she walked in. I’m so shocked that with so many good restaurants now that places like this can even survive, especially a well known chain restaurant.
