First experience with Puerto Rico food, and this restaurant. It was delicious. We had Mofo Shrimp and Chimi Chicken Rice Bowls with side of yucca fries. The spicy Rican sauce was not for the timid eater, but we loved it. Friendly staff. Upbeat and clean atmosphere.

Second time ordering Red Rican today! Great portions for price. Food has been seasoned great & consistent both times! I love the way they chop up the plantains. The beef & cheese empanada is fire! & so are the tres leches cakes. Always friendly staff & very clean & nice setting. If you’ve been thinking about trying it— do it!

The food was unbelievably good, the Pica Bowl might actually be one of the most perfectly designed dishes ever, but I’m a sucker for plantains. I also bought a chocolate tres leches that was just as spectacular. Only downside was this weirdo trying to play it smooth with the ladies behind the counter, but he was dealt with and it was a little fun to watch. He said he would return, so keep your eyes peeled if you go around 7pm, he’s hard to miss.

I have to be honest, this place is ok for a novice Puerto Rican food ie but for true conesuers it is not a great value, food is expensive and portions are small. If you need a PR food fix it's ok..but not fully satisfactory IMO. Easily replicate the food buying frozen at supermarket and save too. Sorry Red Rican but you should do better. 3 pastelillos and a single Yuca fries with two maltas was 26$ before the tip to the Chinese girl who took my order and barely spoke English and no Spanish. Update: I see Red Rican replied to me but I can't reply to the comment. I know you didn't like my review. I didn't even want to post it because I knew someone would bicker and try to disparage it as inaccurate or racist or unreasonable somehow. I could have easily posted a receipt and proved what I stated. I never expected your help to speak in Spanish but your employee didn't tell me she only spoke English..she just looked at me perplexed and I understood and spoke in English. In the end I am the loser in this game but had to write it anyway. I avoided lame reviews for years because of this.
